President Trump may have just shared a warning…
Trump shared an AI-generated image on TRUTH Social showing American warplanes pounding an oil facility beneath the words “STRIKE ON KHARG,” directing fresh attention toward Iran’s most important oil-export hub.
The post did not announce a military order, timetable or completed operation. But coming from a president who has repeatedly threatened Iran’s energy infrastructure, the message was impossible to miss.
Kharg Island sits near the northern Persian Gulf and handles the overwhelming majority of Iran’s crude-oil exports. That makes it one of Tehran’s most valuable economic assets and a powerful potential pressure point in the fight over the Strait of Hormuz.
Trump has traditionally argued that presidents should never advertise military operations before launching them. He has also made an exception when a public threat can rattle an adversary or force it toward the negotiating table.
The “STRIKE ON KHARG” image appears to fall into that second category, unless the commander in chief is previewing something more.
Trump accompanied it with a barrage of other AI-generated images aimed at Iran.
One showed a damaged Iranian tanker under the caption “NO MORE ENGINES.” Others depicted Trump and American troops seizing an Iranian vessel beneath the words “IT’S OUR OIL TANKER NOW!”
Another hailed the U.S. military as “GUARDIAN ANGELS OF THE WORLD.”

The social-media saber-rattling arrived as the United States paused offensive strikes against Iran for a second consecutive day, reportedly giving diplomatic efforts more breathing room. A Fox News segment examined whether the pause reflected military repositioning or an opening for negotiations.
Kharg is not a new target.
U.S. forces struck military sites on the island in March, but Trump said its oil infrastructure had been spared. He later threatened to seize Kharg and other Iranian energy assets if Tehran refused to reopen the Strait of Hormuz.
