Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio was publicly mocked during a rally inside Trump Tower over the weekend; with countless protesters panning his decision to “ban” future construction of “classic” glass and steel skyscrapers.
“New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio faced a crowd of angry protesters Monday at a raucous rally promoting the city’s Green New Deal inside the lobby of Trump Tower, where the Democrat threatened President Trump’s family company with millions of dollars in fines if his buildings don’t comply with new environmental standards,” reports Fox News.

“Speaking in front of the same escalators where Trump launched his 2016 campaign, de Blasio blasted the president’s rollback of Obama-era environmental policies, his move to pull the United States out of the Paris Climate Agreement and his appointment of climate change skeptics to the Cabinet,” adds the article.
“His buildings are one of the biggest polluters in New York City,” de Blasio said. “Cut your emissions or we’ll cut something you really care about.”

DE BLASIO’S NYC: Mayor Allocates Additional $1.6M to Attorneys Defending Migrants from Deportation
New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and his city council are allocating an additional $1.6 million to provide legal resources for illegal immigrant residents facing deportation orders and other law enforcement issues.
“Calling it a defensive fund against President Trump’s immigration policies, New York City officials plan to put an extra $1.6 million toward public defenders representing immigrants slated for deportation,” reports Fox News.
“Attorneys and immigrant rights groups had pushed for money, saying that courts were rushing decisions on deportation and that immigrants were at a disadvantage if they did not have the help of an attorney,” adds the author. “The move to bolster the funding arose from a deal between New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio and Council Speaker Corey Johnson.”
“This is crucial right now as the ICE deportation machine has ramped up efforts to interfere with the necessary work NYIFUP is doing by pushing people through the system with zero regard for due process. I will continue to fight these un-American and horrific immigration policies,” said City Council Speaker Corey Johnson.

DE BLASIO’S NYC: Mayor Calls for Construction of $10 BILLION Global Warming ‘Barriers’ in Lower Manhattan
Big Apple Mayor Bill de Blasio left millions of New Yorkers scratching their heads Thursday; totally ignoring the city’s crumbling infrastructure and calling for the creation of global warming “barriers” in lower Manhattan.
“We don’t debate global warming in New York City. Not anymore. The only question is where to build the barriers to protect us from rising seas and the inevitable next storm, and how fast we can build them,” posted the Mayor’s office on social media.
“Over the coming years, we will spend up to $10 billion to extend the downtown waterfront,” he added.
