Violent crime is out of control in the Windy City — and the residents know it.
During Tuesday night’s Hannity, Fox News contributor Nicole Parker asked Chicagoans about the violent crime in their city and President Trump’s offer to send in the Guard.
While some were hesitant to support Trump’s plan to send in the National Guard, many residents said they would welcome the help from the President.
“The one commonality across every person that I spoke to was they admit crime is completely out of control,” Parker told Hannity. “And also, they admit, their Mayor and their Governor have failed them. They are not satisfied with what is happening. They do not believe that they will create the solutions that are necessary.”
Parker added: “Almost every single person came around and said, ‘You know what? You’re right — this isn’t about politics and we need all the help we can get.”
“This is not about politics. This is about keeping everyone safe; keeping everyone alive,” Parker continued.
