WHAT FOR? British Politician Nominates BIDEN for Nobel Prize, Says He Uses ‘Arguments’ Over ‘Violence’

A member of the British Parliament officially nominated former Vice President Joe Biden for the Nobel peace Prize Tuesday; saying he uses the “force of argument” instead of “violent solutions” in solving problems.

“When others have resorted to violent solutions, [Biden] has argued that the best force is the force of argument,” Chris Bryant, a member of the Labour Party, told the Standard. “Because guns can stop a heart but well-placed words can change many hearts, and many hearts can change a world.”

President Trump was nominated weeks ago for the Nobel Prize over his role in forging new peace agreements between Israel, the United Arab Emirates, and Bahrain.

GOP CHAIR: If Obama Called-Off Military Attack on Iran He’d Be Awarded Nobel Prize

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.21.19

GOP Chairwoman Ronna McDaniel weighed-in Friday on President Trump’s last-minute decision to cancel air strikes against Iran; saying the media would demand a Nobel Prize if Barack Obama was in the White House.

“If Obama had called off air strikes, the media would demand he get the Nobel Peace Prize. Such a double standard,” she posted on social media.

President Trump confirmed Friday morning he called-off a retaliatory attack against Iran “10 minutes” before the mission; saying the operation was not “proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone.”

“President Obama made a desperate and terrible deal with Iran – Gave them 150 Billion Dollars plus I.8 Billion Dollars in CASH! Iran was in big trouble and he bailed them out. Gave them a free path to Nuclear Weapons, and SOON. Instead of saying thank you, Iran yelled Death to America. I terminated deal, which was not even ratified by Congress, and imposed strong sanctions. They are a much weakened nation today than at the beginning of my Presidency, when they were causing major problems throughout the Middle East. Now they are Bust!” tweeted the Commander-in-Chief.

“On Monday they shot down an unmanned drone flying in International Waters. We were cocked & loaded to retaliate last night on 3 different sights when I asked, how many will die. 150 people, sir, was the answer from a General. 10 minutes before the strike I stopped it, not proportionate to shooting down an unmanned drone. I am in no hurry, our Military is rebuilt, new, and ready to go, by far the best in the world. Sanctions are biting & more added last night. Iran can NEVER have Nuclear Weapons, not against the USA, and not against the WORLD!” he added.

“A source had confirmed to Fox News earlier Friday morning that the administration made a last-minute decision to call off the retaliatory strikes against Iran. But until Trump’s tweets, few details about the aborted mission and the circumstances that led to the reversal were publicly available. And it remained unclear Friday whether strike plans have been definitively shelved,” reports Fox.
