WATCH: Rick Santorum Discusses Sudden Departure from CNN on ‘Hannity’

posted by Hannity Staff - 5.25.21

Former Senator and presidential candidate Rick Santorum discussed his sudden departure from CNN on ‘Hannity’ Monday night; directly addressing the network after he was fired for comments over ‘Native American Culture.’

“You get savaged for telling the truth,” Santorum said.

“We birthed a nation from nothing,” he said. “Yes, there were Native Americans, but there isn’t much Native American culture in American culture.”

“What I said was not at all disparaging towards Native Americans, what I was talking about is the founding of the United States of America and that Native Americans did not have a role in the founding of our country,” the outspoken Republican said.

“Now you can say that’s a bad thing or a good thing or the way we treated Native Americans was bad, but I was giving a talk to a group of young people talking about the founding principles of religious liberty and how important it was to the immigrants who came here to found this country. And that was an important value that was envied into our Constitution.”

CANCELED! Portland Theater Pulls ‘Kindergarten Cop’ Over Claims Film Promotes ‘Over-Policing in Schools’

posted by Hannity Staff - 8.06.20

A movie theater in Portland, Oregon was forced to pull their screenings of beloved family film ‘Kindergarten Cop’ over complaints the classic comedy promotes “over-policing” in schools.

“The Northwest Film Center announced this week it would pull the 1990 film starring Schwarzenegger as a detective who goes undercover as a kindergarten teacher in order to bust a drug dealer,” reports the NY Post.

“Yes, KINDERGARTEN COP is only a movie. So are BIRTH OF A NATION and GONE WITH THE WIND, but we recognize films like those are not ‘good family fun,’” posted an angry user on social media.

“They are relics of how pop culture feeds racist assumptions. KINDERGARTEN COP romanticizes over-policing in the U.S.,” they added.

'AMERICA UNCANCELED': DeSantis Tells CPAC Days of 'Failed Republican Establishment' Are Over

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.28.21

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis addressed a crowd of conservative voters at CPAC Friday morning; saying the GOP cannot go back to the “days of the failed Republican establishment.”

“Florida is protecting our people from political censorship and holding Big Tech accountable. We will pass the most ambitious reforms ever proposed for combating political censorship and de-platforming,” said DeSantis.

“In Florida, we are not going to let the terms of the debate be set by oligarchs in Silicon Valley. We’re leading on the issues that matter to conservatives. We don’t spout hollow rhetoric, we take action. We cannot, we will not go back to the days of the failed Republican establishment,” he added.
