Watch President Trump’s highly-praised Super Bowl advertisement featuring Alice Johnson; a woman freed from prison under the administration’s efforts to reshape criminal justice reform with the help of Kim Kardashian West.
“President Donald Trump aired a campaign ad Sunday night during the Super Bowl featuring Alice Johnson, whose life sentence for nonviolent drug offenses was commuted by Trump in June 2018,” reports Business Insider.
“The 63-year-old grandmother gained national attention after her case was championed by Kim Kardashian West. Her sentence was commuted just one week after Trump met with Kardashian West at the White House to discuss criminal-justice reform,” adds the website.
“I promised to restore hope in America,” says the President in the video. “That includes the least among us. Together, let’s KEEP AMERICA GREAT!”

BREAKING: House Follows Senate, Passes Criminal Reform Bill, Heads to President’s Desk
The House of Representatives followed the Senate Thursday and voted overwhelmingly to pass the President’s touted ‘Criminal Reform Bill,’ sending the legislation to Trump’s desk to be signed into law.
“The House approved the bill 358-36, sending it to Trump’s desk for his signature. The legislation was approved earlier this week by the Senate, 87-12. The passage marks a win for Trump as well as his senior adviser and son-in-law Jared Kushner, who advocated for the bill in the face of conservative resistance,” writes Fox News.
The new legislation -dubbed the First Step Act- would allow federal judges more flexibility in sentencing instead of rigid, minimum penalties. It also seeks to reduce prison sentences for specific drug offenders with “three strike” convictions.
“It also incentivizes prisoners to participate in programs designed to reduce the risk of recidivism, with the reward being an earlier release to either home confinement or a halfway house to complete their sentence,” adds the article.

GLOVES OFF: Tulsi Gabbard Says Kamala Harris’ ‘Entire Campaign is Based on a LIE’
Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard slammed Kamala Harris on social media Tuesday; saying her entire presidential campaign is “based on a lie.”
“Kamala’s entire campaign is based on a lie — that as AG of California, she was a fighter for the oppressed and for criminal justice reform. But her criminal justice record shows that her policies exemplified the worst aspects of our criminal justice system,” said Gabbard.

“Sen. Harris says she’s proud of her record as a prosecutor and that she’ll be a prosecutor president, but I’m deeply concerned about this record,” Gabbard said. “There are too many examples to cite but she put over 1,500 people in jail for marijuana violations and then laughed about it when she was asked if she ever smoked marijuana.”
“I think one of the things I’m most concerned with is Kamala Harris is not qualified to serve as commander-in-chief, and I can say this from a personal perspective as a soldier,” Gabbard added.
Harris’ Press Secretary pushed-back against Gabbard’s attacks; bizarrely suggesting the ‘Russian Propaganda Machine’ was behind her rise in popularity.
“Reporters writing their stories with eyes on the modern-day assignment desk of Twitter, read this: ‘The Russian propaganda machine that tried to influence the 2016 election is now promoting the presidential aspirations of a controversial Hawaii Democrat,’” tweeted Ian Sams.

“The Russian propaganda machine that tried to influence the 2016 U.S. election is now promoting the presidential aspirations of a controversial Hawaii Democrat who earlier this month declared her intention to run for president in 2020,” reported NBC News last February.
Congresswoman Tulsi Gabbard called-out Sen. Kamala Harris during Wednesday night’s Democratic debate; telling reporters the top-tier candidate needs to be “held accountable” for her record.
“People like Kamala Harris need to be held accountable for their record, not for something that she said or did 50 years ago. This is something that she did in her last job before she was elected as a U.S. Senator,” said Gabbard.
