The event, scheduled for 3 p.m. EDT in the East Room, will bring together business leaders and entrepreneurs as the administration highlights its economic agenda.
It comes just one day after Trump made headlines on the global stage, announcing that the United States would assist in freeing ships in the Strait of Hormuz — a critical artery for the world’s oil supply that has been effectively shut down amid the ongoing conflict with Iran.
