WARREN’S WARNING: Sen. Warren Suggests Invoking 25th Amendment to Remove Trump

2020 Democratic presidential hopeful Sen. Elizabeth Warren escalated her war-of-words with the White House over the weekend; suggesting senior cabinet members should invoke the 25th Amendment and remove President Trump from office.

“My point here is that if they believe that Donald Trump cannot fulfill the obligations of his office, then they have a constitutional responsibility to invoke the 25th amendment,” said Warren at a campaign stop in Las Vegas.

“Their loyalty under law is not to him personally. It is to the Constitution of the United States and to the people of United States,” she added.

The Senator’s comments come days after former FBI boss Andrew McCabe told ’60 Minutes’ the DOJ considered using the constitutional amendment to remove President Trump.

2020 Democratic hopeful and firebrand Senator Warren escalated her all-out war with the President Monday; saying she “doesn’t think there’s much doubt” the Commander-in-Chief is a “racist.”

“Some of your Democratic colleagues have just straight-up come out and said that President Trump is racist. Are you willing to say that? Is he a racist?” asked one reporter.

“I’ve already said that. Many times, go back and look at the tapes. I don’t think there’s much doubt about that,” said Warren.

IT BEGINS: Elizabeth Warren to Introduce ‘Wealth Tax’ on High-Income Americans

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.24.19

Sen. Elizabeth Warren is poised to unveil her “wealth tax” against high-income Americans and those with over $50 million in miscellaneous assets in the coming days, reports CNBC.

“Sen. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., is planning to propose a ‘wealth tax’ on some of the richest Americans, an economist who advises her told CNBC on Thursday,” writes CNBC.

“The new tax from Warren, who recently announced her bid to challenge President Donald Trump in 2020, would only apply to Americans with more than $50 million in assets,” adds the site.

“The Warren wealth tax is pretty big. We think it could have a significant affect on wealth concentration in the long run,” said her economic advisor. “This is a very interesting development with deep root causes: the fact inequality has been increasing so much, particularly in wealth, and the feeling our current tax system doesn’t do a very good job taxing the very richest people.”
