Vice President JD Vance stopped by Hannity Monday night for an exclusive sitdown to discuss what is — and what isn’t — in the U.S.-Iran peace deal.
Misinformation and disinformation have been rampant throughout negotiations.
“What frustrates me about the Iranians is that Donald Trump says ‘A’ and somebody will come out and contradict what the president said,” Hannity said.
“I’ve seen a lot of misinformation out there,” Vance said. “Fundamentally, what this thing does is, number one, the Strait of Hormuz is open immediately. You already see oil prices coming down substantially, and I think you’re going to see them come down even more. Number two, it ensures that Iran will never have a nuclear weapon.”
Vance continued: “And number three, it goes on to say that if Iranians are willing to change their ways — stop trying to build a nuclear weapon, stop trying to fund terrorism all over the Middle East — then we are willing to fundamentally transform our relationship with them. Now, of course, we would need to verify that and see real progress and action — not just words.”
Vance blasted efforts from “yahoos” in Iranian media saying something untrue about the deal.
“This is good for the American people,” Vance said, and confirmed that Iran doesn’t get “a dime” from the American people.
