A 28-year-old Maryland man was arrested and charged this week with plotting an ISIS-inspired truck attack just outside of Washington, DC; telling police he hoped to “keep driving and driving and driving.”
“A Maryland man has been charged with stealing a rental truck that authorities say he wanted to use to kill pedestrians at National Harbor in Maryland, near Washington, D.C,” reports NBC News.

“I was just going to keep driving and driving and driving. I wasn’t going to stop,” the suspect told police.
In 2016, an ISIS-inspired driver rammed a truck into a crowd of pedestrians in Nice, France; killing nearly 90 people and injuring hundreds.

TERROR PLOT FOILED: Authorities Bust Plan to KILL 10,000 in California
A graduate of Berkeley High School in California pleaded guilty to multiple charges of terrorism this week after telling federal agents he plotted with ISIS to kill 10,000 people in the San Francisco area.
The 23-year old man, identified as Amer Sinan Alhaggagi of nearby Oakland, admitted he sent material and resources to foreign terror organizations and hoped to stage a series of attacks throughout the Bay Area.
The plot involved a string of deadly bombings and a plan to lace the region’s cocaine and drug supply with rat poison.

“Authorities arrested Alhaggagi in November 2016 after he bought clothes online with a phony credit card, but he was held so federal authorities could continue to investigate him,” writes Fox News.

TERROR PLOT FOILED: FBI Arrests Man Planning Attacks on White House, DC Landmarks
Federal agents arrested a 21-year-old Georgia resident this week; saying the man was planning multiple terror attacks against the White House and other prominent DC landmarks in the coming days.
“A 21-year-old man, Hasher Taheb of Cumming, Georgia, was arrested and charged with ‘violating Title 18USC 844(f)(1) — attempt to damage by means of an explosive any building owned, possessed, or leased by the United States or any department or agency thereof, or any institution or organization receiving federal financial assistance,’” reports Business Insider.
According to the complaint filed by the US District Court in Georgia, Taheb planned to sell his vehicle to finance his deadly assault, which included terror strikes on the Washington Monument, White House, Lincoln Memorial, and an unspecified Synagogue.
