TRUMP to NEW YORKERS: ‘Call Up the National Guard, Lowlifes and Losers are RIPPING YOU APART’

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.02.20

President Trump urged politicians in New York to call-in the National Guard Tuesday morning after rioting and looters struck stores in Manhattan, Brooklyn, and the Bronx; causing millions of dollars in damages.

“NYC, CALL UP THE NATIONAL GUARD. The lowlifes and losers are ripping you apart. Act fast! Don’t make the same horrible and deadly mistake you made with the Nursing Homes!!!” posted Trump on Twitter.

New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio strongly criticized an NYPD officer for drawing his pistol on a crowd after a video went viral on social media, but recently released footage shows a fellow cop nearly killed by a brick-throwing protester.

“There’s a video going around of a police officer in the middle of a situation that admittedly looked chaotic but where protesters were in front of that police officer,” de Blasio said. “That police officer drew his gun at some point yesterday. That to me, seeing that video was absolutely unacceptable. Now, I don’t know all the circumstances and we must know all the facts. There will be an immediate full investigation of that incident.”

“But I can say as a New Yorker, as your Mayor, as someone who understands that the vast majority of protestors are there peacefully, and even those who do have that violent intent are still human beings,” de Blasio continued. “We have to always know it is not the place of an officer to pull a gun in the middle of a crowd knowing that there are peaceful protesters in that crowd that is unacceptable. That is dangerous. I want you to note on that video how a superior officer immediately came over and moved that officer away from that crowd. That officer should have his gun and badge taken away today. There will be an investigation immediately to determine the larger consequences.”

MORE CHAOS in NYC: Rioters Clash with Police, Hundreds of Looters Strike Manhattan, Bronx, Brooklyn

posted by Hannity Staff - 6.02.20

Hundreds of looters hit the streets of New York City for a second straight night Monday; striking stores in the Bronx, Brooklyn, and Mid-town Manhattan hours after protesting the death of George Floyd in Minneapolis last week.

“The roving gangs began their spree of rampage after a demonstration over George Floyd’s death earlier in the evening, at times clashing with peaceful protestors who desperately attempted to stop the looting and destruction,” reports the New York Post.

“It’s systemic, one person breaks the glass with something,” said one eyewitness. “Someone else comes up on a bike and robs the store, it’s systemic, you can see.”

“It’s coordinated,” one source said. “They are not out-of-towners. We know who they are.”
