During Tuesday night’s Hannity exclusive interview with President Trump and Elon Musk, the pair opened up about their working relationship and attempts by the media mob to drive them apart.
Musk told Hannity that “President Trump is a good man” who has been “unfairly targeted by the media.”
“I’ve spent a lot of time with the president and not once have I seen him do something mean or cruel or wrong — not once,” Musk said of Trump.
Musk also revealed that the first assassination attempt on Trump’s life “sped up” his endorsement.
“I was going to do it anyway,” Musk said.
“That was it?” Hannity said.
“That was a precipitating event,” Musk said.
“That sped it up a little bit?” Trump then said to Musk. “I didn’t know that.”
Musk responded, “It sped it up, but I was going to do it anyway.”
Hannity then dove into Musk’s history of successful tech companies; Musk admits he’s a technologist and thinks of himself as a form of “tech support.”
Musk also confirmed that DOGE’s main function is to ensure that the president’s executive orders are carried out.
