President Trump addressed the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland Tuesday; telling global leaders the United States will “never let socialists destroy our economy” or “wreck our country.”
“We will never let radical socialists destroy our economy, wreck our country, or eradicate our liberty,” said the President.
“America will always be the proud, strong, and unyielding bastion of freedom. In America, we understand what the pessimists refuse to see. A growing, vibrant market economy focused on the future lifts the human spirit and excites creativity strong enough to overcome any challenge,” he added.

“The scientific breakthroughs of the 20th century have lifted living standards and saved billions of lives around the world, and we’re continuing to work on things you’ll hear about in the near future,” said the President.

CNN SNOWFLAKE: Jim Acosta ‘DISAPPOINTED’ in Trump’s Davos Speech
CNN’s senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta took his war against President Trump global this week, saying he was “disappointed” the Commander-in-Chief took a jab at the “fake news” media during his speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.
Acosta’s comments were in response to President Trump’s harsh words towards the mainstream media, telling the global gathering that he never realized how “vicious” and “fake” the press could be until he entered the political arena.
“As a businessman I was always treated really well by the press […] It wasn’t until I became a politician that I realized how nasty, how mean, how vicious, and how fake the press could be,” said Trump.

Acosta pounced on the President’s comments within minutes, saying it was “too bad” the forum organizers didn’t protest Trump’s remarks, calling the entire situation “disappointing.”

DONALD TAKES DAVOS: Trump Tells WORLD LEADERS ‘US is Open For Business’
President Trump took his “America First” policy to the global stage this week, speaking at the World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland where he told business leaders and political big-shots that the United States was officially “open for business.”
The President touted the booming American economy and massive deregulations to top executives from across the globe, assuring them that his “America First” foreign policy doesn’t translate to “America alone.”
“I believe in America. As President of the United States, I will always put America First. Just like the leaders of other countries should put their countries first. But America First does not mean America alone,” Trump told the crowd.
“We are all stronger when free, sovereign nations cooperate toward shared goals and they cooperate toward shared dreams,” he added. “The world is witnessing the resurgence of a strong and prosperous America. There has never been a better time to hire, to build, to invest and to grow in the United States. America is open for business.”
The President’s comments come as dozens of major American corporations -such as AT&T, Walmart, Disney, American Airlines, Visa, Home Depot, and others- are raising wages and paying out big bonuses in the wake of the recently passed GOP tax cuts.
