TROUBLING TURNOUT: Joe's Labor Day Speech Draws Just a Few Dozen Supporters

posted by Hannity Staff - 9.06.22

Bad news for Biden in the Keystone.

According to a report from The Daily Mail, President Biden’s Labor Day event, held outside the United Steelworkers of America Local Union 2227 hall in West Mifflin, PA, didn’t have the turnout he’d hoped.

“While some professional photos from the event concealed just how sparse the crowd was, others showed the paltry number of people who showed up to hear the president’s words,” The Daily Mail reported, noting that the “minuscule” crowd “could be described as being in the dozens.”

RNC Research shared a shot of the event on Twitter.

More from The Daily Wire:

If Biden loses union support in the state in which he was born, he may well lose the state in 2024 if he runs again, as he won the state by a scant 80,000 votes in 2020.

In 2020, roughly 12% of Pennsylvania’s workers belonged to a union. United Steelworkers endorsed Biden that year. When Biden launched his presidential campaign in 2019, he claimed, “I’m a union man, period.”

Bloomberg White House reporter Jennifer Jacobs shared a shot of the small event, as well, saying “Biden is back stage with US Senate candidate John Fetterman ahead of remarks in West Mifflin, a town southeast of Pittsburgh, his 2nd stop on this Labor Day and his 3rd Pennsylvania trip in a week.”
