This was a “kill chain” — a “preemptive strike.”
During Thursday night’s Hannity, Fox News host Sean Hannity spoke with Israeli Special Ops veteran Aaron Cohen and U.S. Congressman Brian Mast about Israel’s preemptive airstrike on Iran’s nuclear facilities, missile sites, and top Iranian officials.
“Israel striking means they didn’t have a choice,” Cohen said. “This means that this was an intelligence-driven operation, and Iran was probably weeks away from going nuclear. That’s the reason that Israel went in as hard as they did and when they did.”
Cohen continued: “Iran is likely at the point where they are enriching uranium somewhere near that 85% … If Israel waits, it wouldn’t be off the table [for] Iran to use these weapons against Israel.”
Hannity said he didn’t think Israel had an option. Rep. Mast agreed and said, “We need to be thanking Israel right now.”
“By doing this, Israel is saying ‘We need to change the ballgame right now,'” Mast said, stressing the importance of Iran being incapable of delivering a nuclear response.
