Leading Democratic Senators Chuck Schumer and Dianne Feinstein harshly rebuked the recently disclosed FBI report into Judge Brett Kavanaugh Thursday; calling the document “very limited” in its scope and findings.
Schumer and Feinstein slammed the document while speaking with reporters at the US Capitol; saying the report was more notable for “what’s not in it.”

“It looks to be a product of an incomplete investigation,” said Feinstein.
“I disagree with Sen. Grassley’s statement that there was no hint of misconduct,” added Schumer.

SCHUMER MELTDOWN: Chuck TRASHES Trump’s Supreme Court PICK
Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer slammed President Trump’s Supreme Court nominee Tuesday, saying Brett Kavanaugh’s previous comments about “shielding” a sitting President from a criminal investigation disqualifies him from serving.
Schumer was speaking with MSNBC when he was asked to comment on Kavanaugh’s earlier writings that stated putting a sitting President on trial would likely “cripple the federal government.”
“He has said the president shouldn’t be investigated,” Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer, D-N.Y., said of Kavanaugh on MSNBC. “How is he going to react if [Special Counsel Robert] Mueller needs a subpoena, if Mueller needs some other action?”
Kavanaugh’s initial comments appeared in a 2009 article in the Minnesota Law Review, stating “Congress might consider a law exempting a President—while in office—from criminal prosecution and investigation, including from questioning by criminal prosecutors or defense counsel.”
“The indictment and trial of a sitting President, moreover, would cripple the federal government, rendering it unable to function with credibility in either the international or domestic arenas,” he added.

SCHUMER UNDER FIRE: Liberal Groups SLAM Chuck’s Handling of Kavanaugh Confirmation
A group of 13 liberal organizations fired-off a scathing letter to Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer Wednesday; saying the left-wing legislator was “failing” in his attempts to block Brett Kavanaugh from the Supreme Court.
The letter -written by prominent left-wing groups such as Women’s March and Democracy for America- slammed Schumer’s seeming inability to stop President Trump’s pick from being confirmed to the bench.
“The Supreme Court is on the line, and you are failing us,” says the statement. “No senator who cares about our democracy should let a criminal co-conspirator like Donald Trump put anyone on the Supreme Court, and certainly not a nominee like Brett Kavanaugh.”
“Your job as Senate Democratic leader is to lead your caucus in complete opposition to Trump’s attempted Supreme Court takeover and to defend everyone threatened by a Trump Supreme Court. But unbelievably, nearly two dozen Democrats have still not come out against Kavanaugh, and just last week, you helped Majority Leader Mitch McConnell fast track 15 Trump judicial nominees. That is not the leadership we need,” adds the letter.
