United States National Security Advisor John Bolton warned Iran there will be “hell to pay” and “serious consequences” should the Islamic Republic defy the US and resume its nuclear weapons program.
According to Yahoo News, Bolton is set to deliver a major speech Tuesday that demands Tehran follow new international guidelines just months after President Trump withdrew the United States from the international nuclear agreement; calling the deal the “worst diplomatic debacle in American history.”

The National Security Advisor’s comments come hours after President Trump delivered a soaring ‘America First’ speech before the General Assembly; saying the US will never surrender its “sovereignty” to “un-elected bureaucrats.”

Despite there being no scheduled negotiations between the two nations, Rouhani expressed the possibility for future talks, saying “The North Korean model cannot be a correct model, because we cannot draw such comparisons. But certainly there are different models out there that can be used.”
