Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez doubled-down on her opposition to former Vice President Joe Biden Monday night; saying the US needs “transformative change” to stop the “for-profit caging of people” in America.
I understand disaffected voters because I once was one.
As a waitress, I’d watch pundits on TV talk about how we didn’t need to improve the ACA much when almost no one I knew could afford insurance. Or they’d talk about how great the economy was when everyone I knew struggled./2

There will always be people who make the case against transformative change.
But today our generation’s prospects are worse off than our parents’. Today people are dying bc they can’t afford insulin. Today the for-profit caging of people is normal.
I, for one, choose change.

AOC ERUPTS: Ocasio-Cortez Rants About Free Stuff, Complains ‘Nobody Giving Us a Damn Thing’
Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez launched a bizarre rant this week regarding her far-left proposals and entitlements; publicly complaining that “nobody is giving us a damn thing” and “we build this on our own.”
“It belongs to us anyway, it doesn’t belong to anybody else. I’m tired of this idea that Medicare for All, that tuition free public colleges are some hand-out from somebody else. Nobody else is giving us a damn thing. We build this on our own. We fund it, we establish it, we fight for it, no one should be able to take it away from us like they have been,” ranted Ocasio-Cortez.

The Congresswoman made similar comments last month, saying her policies don’t promote “free stuff” but call for “public goods.”
“Public education, libraries, & infrastructure policies (which we‘ve had before in America and elsewhere in the world!) are not ‘free stuff.’ They are PUBLIC GOODS. And they are worth investing in, protecting, & advancing for all society and future generations,” posted Ocasio-Cortez on social media.

“This is not free stuff, they’re public goods. They’re public goods. I never want to hear the term ‘free stuff’ ever again. I’m tired of hearing some of these neoliberal folks who are trying to flip the script on us,” said AOC.
