Governor Ron DeSantis signed an Executive Order Monday officially ending all “local CoVID-19 restrictions” across the Sunshine State.
“Gov. Ron DeSantis kept his promise and signed a bill into law Monday that bars businesses, schools and government entities across Florida from asking anyone to provide proof of a COVID-19 vaccination,” reports the Miami Herald. “The bill is effective July 1, but DeSantis also on Monday said he would sign an executive order invalidating all remaining local emergency COVID orders that are still in place after July 1 and suspend immediately any orders related to COVID-19 now.”
“I think it’s the evidence-based thing to do,’’ DeSantis said.
“I think folks that are saying that they need to be policing people at this point, if you’re saying that you really are saying you don’t believe in the vaccines, you don’t believe in the data you don’t believe in the science,” he added.
“The legislation creates a default legal presumption that during any emergency our businesses should be free from government mandates to close, and our schools should remain open for in-person instruction for our children,” concluded the Governor.

60 MINUTES on DeSANTIS HIT-PIECE: ‘Our Story Sunday Night Speaks for Itself’
CBS News and 60 Minutes released a statement Tuesday after being caught red-handed selectively editing a statement from Florida Governor Ron DeSantis; insisting the “story speaks for itself.”
“When Florida State data revealed people of color were vaccinated at a much lower rate than their wealthier neighbors, 60 MINUTES reported the facts surrounding the vaccine’s rollout, which is controlled by the Governor,” reads the statement.

“For over 50 years, the facts reported by 60 MINUTES have often stirred debate and prompted strong reactions. Our story Sunday night speaks for itself,” it concludes.
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis torched ’60 Minutes’ and CBS News during a press briefing Tuesday; saying the outfit knowingly lied because they “didn’t want to let go of the narrative.”
“They cut out everything that showed that their narrative was a piece of horse manure,” said DeSantis. “It shows you how dishonest they are. These are smear merchants. That’s why nobody trusts corporate media. They knew what they were doing was a lie. I knew what they were doing was a lie.”
“They know that we know that they’re lying, yet they continue to lie. We’ve offered them the information, and they declined to interview the key people because they didn’t want to let go of the narrative. There’s going to be consequences for that,” he added.
“I know corporate media thinks that they can just run over people. You ain’t running over this Governor. I’m punching back,” concluded the Republican.

BOMBSHELL REPORT: Fusion GPS STILL SPYING on President Trump
The controversial research firm Fusion GPS is still investigating alleged ties between President Trump’s 2016 election campaign and Russia, according to several sources who spoke to this reporter.
What’s not known is who is paying for the continuing research? Fusion GPS officials could not be reached immediately for comment.
In October, the Washington Post revealed that Democratic National Committee and Hillary Clinton campaign paid the now embattled research firm Fusion GPS to fund the research into the dossier. Marc E. Elias, who was a lawyer representing the Clinton campaign and the DNC allegedly retained Fusion GPS, but the campaign failed to disclose those payments on its finance records.
Rep. Ron DeSantis, a Florida Republican and Chairman of the National Security Subcommittee, sent a letter last week to House Speaker Paul Ryan, asking him to direct Chairman of the House Intelligence Committee Devin Nunes , R-CA to declassify documents given to the committee related to the dossier. He asked Nunes to utilize the process known as Rule X to make the documents available to the American people and said Fusion GPS’s continuing research into President Trump should be investigated.
DeSantis told this reporter that releasing the information on the dossier and the classified FISA applications is the first step in getting the truth to the public.
“Congress needs to determine the role played by Fusion GPS in the Russia matter and that includes any current Fusion activity,” said DeSantis. “Fusion has not been forthright with Congress and the American people deserve the facts.”
