While thousands of high school teenagers ‘walked out’ of their classrooms on Wednesday to focus the nation’s attention on school safety, not all protests were peaceful; with students in Tennessee tearing down the American flag and jumping on police cars during the demonstrations.
According to the Lexington Herald, total chaos broke out at the Antioch High School outside of Nashville, Tennessee as students ran wild during the out-of-control protests; attacking a police vehicle and snatching an American flag hanging outside the school.

“We respect the right of our students to advocate for causes that are important to them,” said a spokesperson from the Nashville Public Schools.
“Unfortunately, some students on our Antioch campus today chose to protest in ways that significantly disrupted school operations and threatened the safety and order for other students and staff within our school,” added the statement.
AMERICAN HEROES: Florida Survivors Used BULLET PROOF SHEETS to Protect Fellow Students
Two survivors at the Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School in southern Florida used “Kevlar sheets” from a Junior Reserve Officer’s Training Corps course to help shield their fellow students from a hail of gunfire; saving countless lives and untold injuries during the mass shooting.
The students spoke with Tampa’s Fox affiliate, discussing their plan to protect those around them when they began to “hear the pops” as 19-year old Nikolas Cruz opened fire on students at the local high school.
“I heard the pops, I heard the fire drill, and I knew there was a shooter,” said one student. “I looked at all the kids behind me, just looking at me frozen, and I yelled to them ‘Run back to the classroom, go back now!”
“In our JROTC program, we have a team that’s called marksmanship, so our backdrop for the targets that we shoot are actually kevlar sheets that we hang,” he added. “We put everybody behind them. That way they were all at least somewhat safe because the kevlar—it wouldn’t have stopped a bullet, but it would have slowed it down a lot so that the damage someone would have received from it, God forbid, would have been a lot less.”

LATE NIGHT LECTURE: Jimmy Kimmel MOCKS ‘MENTALLY ILL’ Trump After Florida Shooting
Late-night comedian Jimmy Kimmel took his war against President Trump to a new level Thursday night, slamming the Commander-in-Chief as “mentally ill” following the devastating school shooting in Parkland, Florida.
The liberal comic viciously attacked the President while commenting on the tragedy that took place earlier this week, when seventeen individuals lost their lives after a 19-year old former student opened fire at a local high school.
“You’ve literally done nothing,” said Kimmel. “Actually, you’ve done worse than nothing. You like to say this is a mental health issue. One of your very first acts as president, Mr. Trump, was to actually roll back the regulations that were designed to keep firearms out of the hands of the mentally ill.”
“You did that. Your party voted to repeal the mandates on coverage for mental health. So, I agree, this is a mental illness issue, because if you don’t think we need to do something about it, you’re obviously mentally ill,” he added.
