Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer penned a scathing letter to the “colluding press” over the weekend; unloading on the mainstream media for their all-out assault on the Trump administration in a series of “coordinated” editorials.
Spicer and co-writer Tommy Hicks slammed the destroy-Trump press over recent revelations that multiple outlets and newspapers across the country orchestrated a string of articles to inflict maximum damage against the President.
“President John Adams once wrote, ‘The liberty of the press is essential to the security of freedom.’ We at America First couldn’t agree more. A free press is a bedrock of a democratic society. It is at the heart of our constitutional rights. But with liberty comes responsibility—the responsibility to report information accurately and fairly. Unfortunately, too many times, the media have failed to live up to their responsibility,” writes Spicer.
“The evidence is clear. The litany of transgressions began on Day 1 (literally) of Donald Trump’s presidency and hasn’t slowed much since. And let’s face it: Some of the media undermine their own credibility when they lose any semblance of objectivity,” he adds.

SPICER ON HANNITY: Jim Acosta is a ‘CLASSLESS CARNIVAL BARKER’ Who Should 'Act Like an Adult'
Former White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer utterly unloaded on CNN’s Jim Acosta while stopping by ‘Hannity’ Tuesday night; trashing the anti-Trump correspondent after he viciously accused Sarah Huckabee Sanders of lacking “courage” after she failed to answer questions from his news network.
Spicer slammed Acosta over his performance at Tuesday’s White House press briefing, saying “Let’s be honest, Jim Acosta is a carnival barker in the press room, that is both clueless and classless.”
“The day that that briefing was taking place, Sarah answered over 40 questions. Because Jim Acosta didn’t get his precious question in -which I’m sure would have amounted to screaming and yelling of something absurd- he feels as though that shows a lack of courage,” said Spicer.
“Don’t talk about not getting a question being a lack of courage. Real courage is going to serve your country and acting like an adult,” he added.

ACOSTA UNHINGED: CNN Reporter ‘CLARIFIES’ Trump Supporter Smear
CNN senior White House correspondent Jim Acosta found himself in hot-water this week; attempting to clarify his comments that offended Trump supporters and GOP voters across the country.
The network star took to twitter to explain his incendiary remarks revealed by a recent interview with Variety, where he blasted the President’s supporters as not having “all their faculties.”
“The problem is that people around the country don’t know it’s an act. They’re not in on the act and they take what he says very seriously. They take attacks from Sean Spicer and Sarah Sanders, and what they do to us on a daily basis, very seriously,” Acosta said. “They don’t have all their faculties and in some cases their elevator might not hit all floors.”
Acosta backtracked from those comments Wednesday, asserting “As you can plainly see, I’m not referring to Trump supporters.”
Regarding my interview with Variety, my comments have been twisted by some outlets. As you can plainly see, I'm not referring to Trump supporters. I am talking about people who threaten journalists. Links to transcript and video below. https://t.co/SpEBiyVyQd pic.twitter.com/KZ7tkllEHQ
