A new poll released by the Kaiser Family Foundation this week shows a majority of Americans support a ‘Medicare for All’ healthcare program throughout the United States; ensuring the issue takes center stage during the upcoming 2020 presidential election.
The survey finds 56% of those asked support the universal entitlement with just 42% saying they oppose the idea.
“Progressives are pushing the new Democratic House majority to move forward on the idea, and many Democratic presidential hopefuls have signed onto the idea as well. More centrist Democratic lawmakers remain opposed to the proposal, however,” writes The Hill.
Leading Democrats have been pushing the concept in recent months; including Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez, Bernie Sanders, Elizabeth Warren, Julian Castro, and others.

SOCIALISM USA! Bernie Calls for ‘Political Revolution’ Against ‘Fossil Fuel Billionaires’
Vermont Senator and potential 2020 candidate Bernie Sanders set his sights on “fossil fuel billionaires” Monday; saying the United States needs a “political revolution” to turn the country towards “clean energy.”
Sanders posted his incendiary comments on social media this week; slamming President Trump’s tax cuts as an outright “lie” to middle class Americans.
“During Trump’s campaign, he repeatedly promised the American people that ‘the rich would not gain at all’ from his tax plan. He said it would provide a ‘big-league tax cut for the middle class.’ He lied. It’s time for an economy that works for all of us, not just the rich,” Sanders tweeted.

SOCIALISM USA! Bernie Slams ‘Wealth Inequality,’ Says 40% of US ‘Can’t Afford Basics'
Vermont Senator and potential 2020 candidate Bernie Sanders identified a major “moral issue” plaguing the nation this week; saying “wealth inequality” needs to be “addressed” because 40% of Americans “cannot afford the basics to live.”
“Wealth inequality is a profound moral issue this country must address. The richest 3 Americans cannot continue owning more wealth than the bottom half of our country, while over 40% cannot afford the basics to live,” said Sanders.
