SNOOZE FEST: Dems Go Dull in Final Debate, CNN’s Van Jones Says ‘Nothing I Saw Can Take Out Trump’

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.15.20

The top six Democrats took the debate stage in Des Moines, Iowa Tuesday night; an event described by most pundits as “Dull night of the living dead” and a total “snooze fest” as the candidates called for new entitlements and repeatedly ripped President Trump.

“As a progressive, to see those two [Warren and Sanders] have that level of vitriol was very dispiriting. And I want to say that tonight for me was dispiriting. Democrats got to do better than what we saw tonight. There was nothing I saw tonight that would be able to take Donald Trump out, and I want to see a Democrat in the White House as soon as possible,” lamented CNN’s Van Jones.

“In a week of historic consequences as Congress moves towards the third presidential impeachment in the nation’s history, this debate was primarily a very dull affair packed with stump speeches and contenders going through zombified motions,” writes Deadline.

THIS IS CNN: Van Jones BEGS OPRAH to Run Against Trump in 2020

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.13.18

The outright liberal obsession with drafting Oprah Winfrey to take-on President Trump in the 2020 election was on full-display at CNN over the weekend with network host Van Jones begging the television megastar to run; adding the universe “threw us in the toilet” when Trump was elected.

Winfrey was promoting her recent film on Van Jones’ new Sunday night show when he outright implored the American icon to run for office; saying only she can help us emerge from this “crazy situation.”

“We had you. We had the Obamas in the White House. Even on a bad day, you had a North Star. You had some hope. And then it was like the universe looked, just said, ‘Psych!’ And threw us in the toilet and closed the lid and now we’re just stuck in this crazy situation, swirling,” said Jones.

“Look at what happened with the darkness that showed up in Parkland and the darkness that showed up on the streets of Ferguson and the darkness in many, many, many, many, many, many homes in Chicago with shootings and senseless murders,” said Winfrey.

“Do not give your energy to the other side. Do not spend all your time talking about your opponents. Do not give your energy to that which you really don’t believe in,” she added.

WATCH: CNN's Van Jones Says Liberals Furious at 'Every Single Trump Voter'

posted by Hannity Staff - 11.15.17

CNN correspondent and host Van Jones blasted GOP voters on Wednesday, saying liberals in America are “not just mad” at President Trump, but are furious with “every single person who voted for Trump.”

Jones was speaking with ‘The View’ when he viciously lashed-out at republican voters who helped sweep President Trump into the White House last November, saying “I get in trouble because I’m honest,” and that “even people with no jobs” should never have voted for the GOP candidate.

Unfortunately, and I have to be hones…I get in trouble because I’m honest,” said the CNN correspondent.

“When I listen to liberals, when they’re not on TV trying to make it sound good, we’re still in grief; we’re still mad,” Jones added. “And we’re not just mad at Trump, who we should be mad at. We’re mad at every single person who voted for Trump, even people who have no jobs, even coal miners who have black lung disease and who are dying and Democrats don’t have anything to say about it for years.”

“In my conversations with liberals, it’s [always] ‘those’ Trump voters. ‘Them.’ I don’t understand how those people could ever do that. In America, we don’t have to agree. We have to try to understand,” he said.
