SHOWDOWN IN THE SWAMP: Hannity Says Nadler Now Demanding the Attorney General ‘Commit a Crime’

Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Thursday night, Sean slammed House Judiciary Chairman Jerrold Nadler for his insistence that the Attorney General release the full Mueller report; saying he’s now demanding William Barr “commit a crime.”

“The Democrats on Capitol Hill are busy wasting your time; still advancing a hoax, still advancing lies and conspiracy theories. Jerry Nadler is now demanding the Attorney General reveal Grand Jury information in the Mueller report. Nadler actually wants the Attorney General of the United States to commit a crime or he’s going to be put in handcuffs,” said Hannity.

“It is Nadler who’s in for a world of hurt if he continues this. Nadler’s fishing expedition is going nowhere,” he added.

The House Judiciary Committee voted last week to hold Barr in “Contempt” for refusing to meet with top Democrats to further discuss Robert Mueller’s “no collusion” conclusion.

The vote passed among Committee members 24-16 along party lines.

“The Trump administration, and its enablers, may brazenly try to cover up the misdeeds uncovered by the special counsel,” said chair Jerrold Nadler, “but on this committee we will represent the American people and ensure the truth is known.”

“Our fight is not just about the Mueller report — although we must have access to the Mueller report,” Nadler said. “Our fight is about defending the rights of Congress, as an independent branch, to hold the president accountable.”

“We will have no choice but to move quickly to hold the attorney general in contempt if he stalls or fails to negotiate in good faith,” Nadler added. “But the attorney general must make a choice. Every one of us must make the same choice. That choice is now an obligation of our office.”

“The choice is simple: We can stand up to this president in defense of the country and the Constitution we love, or we can let the moment pass us by,” he added.
