SHOCKER: James Comey PRAISES OUSTED FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe

The recently ‘fired’ Director of the FBI took some time from his busy schedule on Monday to praise the recently ‘removed’ Deputy Director of the FBI, saying the bureau’s number two man “stood tall over the last 8 months” in the face of President Trump’s relentless attacks.

James Comey posted his consolation letter to outgoing Deputy Director Andrew McCabe on social media, blasting “small people” in the White House for attempting to “tear down an institution we all depend upon.”

“Special Agent Andrew McCabe stood tall over the last 8 months, when small people were trying to tear down an institution we all depend on. He served with distinction for two decades. I wish Andy well. I also wish continued strength for the rest of the FBI. America needs you,” Comey tweeted.

The former FBI boss routinely attacks President Trump and senior aides on twitter, months after he was removed for his botched investigation into Hillary Clinton’s use of a private email server.

James Comey was fired in May 2017 after months of controversies and scandals during the 2016 presidential election.

COMEY GETS BIBLICAL: Comey Quotes Scripture Following Flynn Plea

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.04.17

Former Director of the FBI James Comey quoted scripture on social media Friday, referencing a biblical passage about “justice” and “righteousness” minutes after former National Security Adviser Michael Flynn pleaded guilty to making false statements to the FBI.

Comey didn’t mention Flynn by name, but the timing of his tweet suggests the former FBI chief approved of special counsel Robert Mueller’s decision to press charges against the senior Trump aide.

“But justice roll down like waters and righteousness like an ever-flowing stream” Amos 5:24,” posted Comey.

James Comey plays a central role on Mueller’s ongoing probe into allegations of Russian interference in the 2016 general election.

The special counsel was initially appointed after Attorney General Sessions recused himself from the investigation, but was initially sparked after President Trump fired Comey over his “poor” handling of Hillary Clinton’s email investigation.

Friday morning, Flynn pleaded guilty to charges of “willfully and intentionally making false statements” to the FBI regarding private conversations he had with the Russian ambassador in the run-up to President Trump’s inauguration.

BREAKING: Deputy Director Andrew McCabe STEPPING DOWN from FBI

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.29.18

Deputy Director Andrew McCabe is reportedly stepping down from his top post at the FBI following months of scandals and controversies regarding his role in the bureau’s investigation into President Trump’s relationship with Russian officials, reports Fox News.

Inside sources confirmed McCabe’s plans to take “terminal leave” -the act of taking paid vacation until he plans to retire in just a few weeks- on Monday afternoon; raising the stakes in an already tense relationship between the White House and the nation’s premier law enforcement agency.

The Deputy Director has been a lightning-rod for Republicans since his appointment to the bureau.

McCabe’s wife has long-standing ties to the Democratic party; running as a Democrat for a Virginia Senate seat in 2015 and receiving funds and support from senior Clinton insiders -including Governor Terry McAuliffe.

Just months ago, President Trump blasted McCabe on social media, saying “How can FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe, the man in charge, along with leakin’ James Comey, of the Phony Hillary Clinton investigation (including her 33,000 illegally deleted emails) be given $700,000 for wife’s campaign by Clinton Puppets during investigation?”
