Liberal Rep. Adam Schiff said Wednesday that he believes the GOP intentionally tampered with the bombshell FISA memo expected to be released this week, adding that his Republican colleagues had made “material changes” to the document before it was sent to President Trump for review.
Rep. Schiff made his stunning accusations in a letter to House Intelligence Chairman Devin Nunes just days after the committee voted to release the four-page memo; urging the GOP leader to delay its publication should the President approve its disclosure.
“After reviewing both versions, it is clear that the Majority made material changes to the version it sent to the White House, which Committee members were never apprised of, never had the opportunity to review, and never approved,” Schiff wrote.
“It is now imperative that the Committee Majority immediately withdraw the document that it sent to the White House,” he added. “This is deeply troubling, because it means that the Committee Majority transmitted to the White House an altered version of its classified document that is materially different than the version on which the Committee voted.”
Schiff’s comments come on the heels of the FBI’s stark warning about releasing the controversial memo, saying the bureau had “grave concerns” over disclosing the information to the American people.

BOOKER BREAKDOWN: Cory GOES NUCLEAR, Says Releasing FISA MEMO ‘Treasonous’
New Jersey Senator Cory Booker continued his all-out anti-Trump rampage this week, saying he believes that releasing the House Intelligence Committee’s FISA memo would be “tantamount to treason” and jeopardizes the lives of those in the intelligence community.
The liberal legislator was speaking with SiriusXM when he made the outlandish remarks, adding that GOP lawmakers who wish to release the classified material are “betraying” the men and women who work to keep our country safe.
“This fury and fire that has been created around this, is to me tantamount to a dangerous conspiracy theory that can undermine the important work our Justice Department and intelligence communities do,” said Booker.
“I might say tantamount to treasonous in the sense of -when you violate the intelligence community’s mandate around classified documentation and what should be released- you could be betraying, or especially if you’re revealing sources and methods, you are actually endangering fellow Americans in the intelligence community,” he added.
“To me, this is something that could be potentially viewed as treasonous,” said Booker.

HANNITY: New Evidence Shows WIDESPREAD FISA Abuse Against Trump Campaign
Speaking during his opening monologue on ‘Hannity’ Thursday night, Sean weighed-in on the shocking abuse of power inside the Department of Justice in the run-up to President Trump’s inauguration; saying the scale of corruption and bias is “far bigger than Watergate.”
“We’ve been telling you it’s coming, it’s now here… Classified DOJ documents that members of Congress are now reviewing, it shows widespread and extensive FISA abuses against the Trump campaign,” said Sean.
“Members of Congress were able to get their hands on all these classified documents. At the last-minute Rod Rosenstein tried to stop it by going into Paul Ryan’s office,” he added.
“It is more disturbing than we ever thought. Our sources are telling us that the abuse of power is far bigger than Watergate,” Hannity said. “What we’re talking about tonight is the systematic abuse of power, the weaponizing of those powerful tools of intelligence, and the shredding of our Fourth Amendment constitutional rights that protect all of us.”
“What we’re talking about tonight is the abuse of the powerful tools of intelligence that we use to spy on people, except those tools were used against an opposition candidate and a president-elect and his entire time,” he added.
“Not only was it done under false pretenses, but with the help of Hillary Clinton. She bought and paid for the dossier, and that dossier was corroborated by a longtime Clinton ally,” said Sean.
