Anti-Trump comedian Kathy Griffin is preparing for her next big role, portraying senior Trump advisor Kellyanne Conway in a new series for Comedy Central and raising the stakes in her all-out war with the White House.
“It’s true. I’ll be on the @PresidentShow next Tuesday 11/10c and I’m going to play Kellyanne Conway. Can’t wait!” tweeted the left-wing comic.

Griffin was thrust into the national spotlight last year when she appeared in a gory photoshoot holding what appeared to be Donald Trump’s severed head.
The political fallout cost the comedian her prized role as host of CNN’s New Year’s Eve spectacular.
“I am kicking the hornet’s nest, as much as I can,” Griffin told the New York Times. “I think it’s important to lean into the controversy because I know so much more about it now. I think now enough time has passed where people are starting to see the ridiculousness of what happened to me, and they’re seeing other people that Trump has done it [too].”
