President Donald Trump will not attend the annual White House Correspondents’ Press Dinner for the second year in a row; a symbol of the Commander-in-Chief’s ongoing battle with the mainstream media and its never-ending obsession with Russian collusion.
“The White House has informed us that the president does not plan to participate in this year’s dinner but that he will actively encourage members of the executive branch to attend and join us as we celebrate the First Amendment,” said a Representative for the organization.
The announcement comes as President Trump slammed the press in a fiery interview on WABC Friday morning, saying it was “pretty unlikely” he would be attending the elite dinner.
“I sort of feel like the press is so bad, and so fake,” he added. “In many cases they literally make up sources.”
ACOSTA UNHINGED: The CNN Reporter HECKLES TRUMP During Easter Party
CNN’s senior White House corresponded Jim Acosta publicly heckled President Trump during the White House Easter Egg Roll Monday; screaming questions at the Commander-in-Chief as he celebrated the festivities with staff and their children in the nation’s capital.
Acosta was the sole reporter hurling questions as Trump spent time with guests on the White House lawn; yelling “Mr. President, What about the DACA children? Should they worry about what’s going to happen to them?”
“Didn’t you kill DACA, sir? Didn’t you kill DACA?” he pressed.

The CNN reporter is no stranger to controversy when it comes to his rocky relationship with the Trump administration; routinely lobbing loaded, anti-Trump questions at both the President and Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
BRAIN FREEZE: Feinstein ‘REGRETS’ Releasing Transcripts, Blames ‘BAD COLD’
Prominent Democratic Senator Dianne Feinstein said this week that she “regrets” publishing congressional interviews with Fusion GPS co-founder Glenn Simpson, saying a “bad cold” may have “slowed down her mental facilities.”
The liberal lawmaker was speaking with NBC News when she pressed to explain her decision to unilaterally release the transcripts without speaking with other members of the Senate Judiciary Committee, mainly Chairman Chuck Grassley.
“The one regret I have is that I should have spoke with Senator Grassley before. And I don’t make an excuse but I’ve had a bad cold and maybe that slowed down my mental facilities a little bit,” said Feinstein.
Sen. Grassley expressed his confusion and outright anger over Feinstein’s decision earlier this week, saying he was “confounded” as to why she would release the transcripts without speaking with other members of the Committee.
President Trump himself weighed-in on the issue on social media Wednesday, blasting “Sneaky Dianne Feinstein” for releasing Congressional testimony in an “underhanded and possibly illegal way.”
The fact that Sneaky Dianne Feinstein, who has on numerous occasions stated that collusion between Trump/Russia has not been found, would release testimony in such an underhanded and possibly illegal way, totally without authorization, is a disgrace. Must have tough Primary!
