Ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff vowed to ramp-up the Russia probe should his party retake control of the House this November; saying he will investigate “money laundering” and get more “answers” on the Trump campaign’s alleged “collusion.”
Schiff was speaking with CNN’s Wolf Blitzer when he was asked if he would ratchet up the investigation if he becomes the Chair of the Intelligence Committee after the 2018 midterm elections.
“The question, though, that I don’t know whether Mueller has been able to answer — because I don’t know whether he’s been given the license to look into it — were the Russians laundering money through the Trump Organization?” he asked.
“And that will be a very high priority to get an answer to. For the reason that if they were doing this, it’s not only a crime, but it’s something provable,” he added. “We will be able to get answers the Republicans were unwilling to pursue. Records that the Republicans wouldn’t ask for.”

A NEW LOW: Schiff Claims RUSSIA Pushed SECOND AMENDMENT so AMERICANS Can ‘Kill Each Other’
Rep. Adam Schiff took his all-out obsession with Russian collusion to a new level Monday evening, breathlessly suggesting the Kremlin promoted the Second Amendment on Facebook to help Americans “kill each other” during the 2016 presidential election.

“We can see for example on Facebook, so graphically what I was mentioning earlier; the multiple aims of the Russians in their interference in our elections. On Facebook you had the content that was clearly anti-Hillary and you had the content that was very pro-Trump,” said Schiff.
“Of course, they parroted Black Lives Matter to try to broaden the racial divide in this country. Fascinatingly they also trumpeted the Second Amendment. The Russians are very big fans of our Second Amendment,” he added.
“The Russians would be very thrilled if we would be doing nothing but killing each other every day, and sadly we are,” said the liberal lawmaker.
ADAM’S ADMISSION: Schiff ADMITS McCabe’s FIRING ‘May Be Justified’
Ranking Democrat on the House Intelligence Committee Adam Schiff acknowledged Sunday that Attorney General Jeff Sessions’ decision to suddenly fire FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe “may be justified,” seconds before calling the move “tainted.”
Schiff was speaking with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos when he was asked to comment on Sessions’ abrupt removal of the senior FBI official just days before he was due to retire.
“On Andrew McCabe, does the fact that the Inspector General did find that he lacked candor in some of his responses, and that his firing was recommended by career FBI officials. Does that suggest that his firing was or may be justified?” asked Stephanopoulos.
“His firing may be justified, there’s no way for us to know at this point,” admitted Schiff. “Even though it may have been justified, it can also be tainted.”
“I think the President badgering his Attorney General, his urging that he be fired before his pension could vest, and the fact that McCabe and every other Comey associates […] every one of them has been targeted by the administration,” he added.
