“The American people see right through the blatant lies of a self-admitted leaker,” Sanders told reporters. “This is nothing more than a poorly executed PR stunt by Comey to desperately rehabilitate his tattered reputation and enrich his own bank account.”

“[He’s] peddling a book that belongs in the bargain bin instead of being remembered as a dedicated servant in the pursuit of justice like so many of his other colleagues in the FBI,” she added.

“Comey will forever be known as a disgraced partisan hack who broke his trust with the President of the United States,” she concluded. “One of the President’s greatest achievements will go down as firing Director James Comey.”

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders scolded reporters during her daily press briefing Friday; reminding journalists of their glowing coverage of the North Korean regime during the 2018 Olympics just weeks ago.

Sparks flew between Sanders and one reporter when he asked if the Trump administration was “elevating” Kim Jong Un by holding high-level meetings with the brutal dictator.

“He’s starved his own people, he’s murdered his own people… Why put him on the same stage as the President of the United States?” he asked.

“The president wants to make sure that we denuclearize the peninsula, and that we’re securing and helping have a safer world,” Sanders fired-back. “I’m glad that you guys are acknowledging a lot of the problems of North Korea, because just a couple weeks ago a lot of members in the press were actually elevating North Korea and some of the members of the regime and comparing them to people in the United States and in this administration.”

“That’s what put North Korea on a similar stage,” she added.

CNN SHUTDOWN: Huckabee Sanders SILENCES Jim Acosta on LIVE TV

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.05.18

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders totally silenced CNN correspondent Jim Acosta during her daily briefing Monday; prompting the liberal reporter to complain on camera over his networks treatment by the Trump administration.

The Press Secretary was wrapping up her press briefing this week when she faced a last-minute flurry of questions; saying “We’re continuing to focus on the things that President Trump campaigned on. We’re excited about what we’ve done and where we’re going.”

Sanders left the podium and headed for the exits when Acosta pounced, saying “Sarah, can I ask a question?”

“Sarah, that’s the third briefing you’ve not taken a question from CNN. Do you expect the Justice Department to enforce all subpoenas, Sarah?” he continued to ask.

Acosta later complained on social media, writing “Third press briefing in a row that @PressSec did not take a question from CNN. #courage.”
