Two Congressional lawmakers are demanding the President’s Russian interpreter appear before Congress as soon as possible; hoping for a chance to grill the individual over Trump’s personal meeting with Vladimir Putin.
Sen. Jeanne Shaheen officially called-for the “US interpreter who was present during President Trump’s meeting with Putin” to testify before Congress Tuesday, saying the federal employee could shed some light on the two leaders’ face-to-face meeting.
“I’m calling for a hearing with the U.S. interpreter who was present during President Trump’s meeting with Putin to uncover what they discussed privately. This interpreter can help determine what @POTUS shared/promised Putin on our behalf,” she tweeted.

HANNITY IN HELSINKI: The Left Can't Keep Up With the 'Speed of Trump'
Speaking during his opening monologue from Helsinki Monday, Hannity slammed the mainstream media’s full-fledged assault on President Trump; saying they simply can’t keep up with the President as he “moves at the speed of Trump.”
“President Trump is just not slowing down, and some people in the media are having a hard time dealing with the fact that he moves so fast; moving at the speed of Trump. This was the President’s 21st visit to a foreign country in just 18 months,” said Sean.
“After today’s one-on-one meeting with Vladimir Putin, the two leaders held a joint press conference,” he added. “The meeting comes just days after Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein announced the indictments of twelve Russian agents who were accused of hacking the DNC.”
“Many on the left want you to believe this alleged interference is a shocking turn of events, but we all know Russian election meddling isn’t new at all,” said Sean.

RAND PAUL: Helsinki Summit Critics Motivated by ‘DISLIKE of the PRESIDENT’
Senator Rand Paul slammed the “pro-war” critics of President Trump’s historic Helsinki summit with Vladimir Putin Monday; saying his GOP detractors were motivated by their “dislike of the President.”
The Senator praised the President’s face-to-face meeting with the Russian leader just hours after Trump met with Putin in the Finnish capital, saying “small steps” towards a thaw in relations with another nuclear superpower was a good thing for both countries.
“We’re going to talk to the president about some small steps in order to try to thaw the relations between our countries,” said Paul.
“Republicans that are making the criticism are either the pro-war Republicans like (Sen. John) McCain and (Sen. Lindsey) Graham or the anti-Trump ones like (Sen. Ben) Sasse,” he added. “They are motivated by their persistent and consistent dislike of the president.”
