President Donald Trump is set to honor mothers shaped by sacrifice, tragedy and resilience during a Mother’s Day luncheon at the White House on Friday.
The event, scheduled for noon in the newly renovated Rose Garden, will bring together Gold Star Mothers, Angel Moms and other women whose stories have become symbols of loss, patriotism and perseverance.
According to details first shared with The Daily Wire, Trump will deliver remarks focused on family policy, public safety and support for American mothers.
The president is expected to discuss his proposed Working Families Tax Cut, Trump Accounts, expanded access to IVF, school choice and his administration’s efforts to keep men out of women’s sports and private spaces.
White House Chief of Staff Susie Wiles and Agriculture Secretary Brooke Rollins are expected to attend.
Among the invited guests is Anna Zarutska, the mother of 23-year-old Ukrainian refugee Iryna Zarutska, who was stabbed to death aboard a train in Charlotte in August 2025.
