The chairwoman of the Republican National Committee slammed liberal lawmakers for their total turn-around on DACA Friday; saying Democratic legislators care more about “winning elections” then they do about the 800,000 ‘Dreamers’ currently residing in the United States.
Ronna McDaniel was speaking with Fox News when she rejected the “absolute lie” that Democratic leadership “care about the DACA recipients,” adding they had multiple opportunities to strike a deal with the President but refused to cooperate with the Trump administration.
“Democrats don’t want to deal with the president because they want to use it as an issue going into the 2018 midterms and the president is right to point it out,” said McDaniel.
“It’s an absolute lie on behalf of Democrat leadership they care about the DACA recipients more than they care about this next election,” she added.

DREAMERS DITCH DEMS: DACA Recipient BLASTS PELOSI, Thanks TRUMP for ‘Leadership’
Some prominent ‘Dreamers’ are beginning to rethink their relationship with the Democratic Party, with one leading DACA recipient thanking President Trump for his “leadership” on the issue while accusing Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer of treating the young immigrants as political “pawns.”
Hilario Yanez was speaking with Fox News on Monday when he called-out the Democratic leadership over their refusal to work with President Trump in passing permanent DACA reform, saying the liberal legislators have “no clear message” on how they plan to tackle serious immigration problems facing the nation.
“Let me begin by first thanking Donald Trump for his leadership, his compassion, and also the courage to take on this issue […] I believe we need to have border security,’ said Yanez.
“The Democratic leadership: Nancy Pelosi, and Chuck Schumer have no clear message. We have been confused and at the end of the day, I think they’ve been using us as pawns,” he added. “They never should have shut down the government over DACA. We should never have held our American people and our military hostage. There is plenty of time on the table to fix this; March 5th is the deadline.”

DREAMERS WHO? Trump RIPS Democrats for ‘FORGETTING’ About DACA
President Trump called out Democratic lawmakers and left-wing activists earlier Friday, accusing Sen. Schumer, Nancy Pelosi, and other liberal leaders of “totally forgetting” about DACA just weeks after shutting down the federal government over the hot-button issue.
The President ripped the legislators on social media, reminding “those who are still interested” that the deadline to reach an agreement on the Obama-era policy is rapidly approaching.

The President’s not-so-subtle jab serves as a reminder to Democratic leadership that the March 5th deadline is looming large; leaving the fate of nearly two million illegal immigrant youths hanging in the balance.
Trump has repeatedly called for a bipartisan agreement to deal with the ‘Dreamers’ currently residing in the United States, but said no deal can be reached without fully funding his long-promised border wall.
