REPORT: Secret 'Tarmac Meeting' SPARKED FBI Hunt for Leaker

Newly released documents show the public revelation of the infamous tarmac meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and Bill Clinton triggered a nationwide man hunt by the FBI to locate the source of the leak, reports Fox News.

According to the government watchdog agency Judicial Watch, 29 pages of recently released material shows the bureau’s mad dash to determine the mole who leaked the secret meeting to the media, rather than investigating the nature of the meeting itself.

“We need to find that guy” said an email from an unidentified FBI email account.

Another described a serious “breach in security protocol” and vowed to “identify the source of the breach.”

“These new FBI documents show the FBI was more concerned about a whistleblower who told the truth about the infamous Clinton-Lynch tarmac meeting than the scandalous meeting itself,” said Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton.

The documents raise serious legal and ethical questions over whether the FBI knew about -and potentially attempted to conceal- the tarmac meeting, and whether or not the private conversation affected James Comey’s investigation into Hillary Clinton’s email server.
