Recently released transcripts from the White House show President Trump agreed to meet Ukraine’s Zelensky without any preconditions; a damning revelation for the Democrats’ ongoing impeachment inquiry.
“President Trump in April agreed to meet with Ukraine’s president-elect – without preconditions – in the first official phone call between the two leaders, according to a White House transcript released Friday morning, moments before the second public hearing as part of the House’s formal impeachment inquiry into the president,” reports Fox News.
“Trump took the April 21 call with Volodymyr Zelensky while aboard Air Force One. The conversation predated the highly controversial conversation between the two presidents on July 25, which prompted the House’s impeachment inquiry,” adds Fox.
“When you’re settled in and ready, I’d like to invite you to the White House,” Trump says. “We’ll have a lot of things to talk about, but we’re with you all the way.”
Zelensky replies: “Well, thank you for the invitation. We accept the invitation and look forward to the visit. Thank you again. The whole team and I are looking forward to the visit.”

AOC on IMPEACHMENT: ‘This is About Preventing a Potentially Disastrous Outcome Next Year’
Controversial Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez weighed-in Wednesday on the Democrats’ public impeachment investigation; saying the proceedings are about “uniting her caucus” and “preventing a disastrous outcome” in 2020.
“We have to move quite quickly because we’re talking about the potential compromise of the 2020 elections. This is not just about something that has occurred, this is about preventing a potentially disastrous outcome from occurring next year,” said Ocasio-Cortez.

The Representative’s comments come hours after GOP leadership released a key memo debunking the Democrats’ motives for impeachment.
These facts are:
- The July 25 call summary — the best evidence of the conversation — shows no conditionality or evidence of pressure;
- President Zelensky and President Trump have both said there was no pressure on the call;
- The Ukrainian government was not aware of a hold on U.S. security assistance at the time of the July 25 call; and
- President Trump met with President Zelensky and U.S. security assistance flowed to Ukraine in September 2019 — both of which occurred without Ukraine investigating President Trump’s political rivals,” states the letter.
“Democrats want to impeach President Trump because unelected and anonymous bureaucrats disagreed with the President’s decisions and were discomforted by his telephone conversation with President Zelensky,” writes the memo.
“Since it became an independent nation following the collapse of the Soviet Union, Ukraine has been plagued by systemic corruption… Corruption so pervasive that in 2011, 68% of Ukrainian citizens reported that they had bribed a public official within the preceding 12 months,” adds the statement.

BIDEN ON UKRAINE: ‘Want an Example of When a President Abuses His Power… Climate Change’
Former Vice President Joe Biden weighed-in Thursday on the Democrats’ latest push to impeach Donald Trump; bizarrely saying “climate change” is a good example of what happens when a President “abuses his power.”
“If you want to an example of what happens when a president puts his own selfish interests ahead of the national interests — when a president abuses his power — I’d say this is Exhibit A. Want another example? Climate change,” said Biden.

Biden’s comments come hours after a group of climate activists in London accidentally doused themselves with 475 gallons of “fake blood.”
“BREAKING: @ExtinctionR and @CClimateAction activists use fire engine to spray 1,800 litres of fake blood over the front of the Treasury in London,” posted Occupy London just before the mishap.

Our own Phil Kingston, 83, could be facing prison for this action this morning outside the Treasury.

“Four people have since been arrested for criminal damage in relation to the incident,” reports the Evening Standard. “While eventually successful, the operation did not get off to the best start when the climate activists lost control of the hose.”
