Twice-failed presidential candidate Hillary Clinton is reportedly “hovering” in the wings; waiting to step in should former Vice President Joe Biden falter in the weeks ahead.
“Hillary Clinton continues to hover in the wings, ready to step forward should Joe Biden fail,” reports The Hill. “Don’t look now, but Joe is failing. Not only has his campaign been rocked by sexual assault allegations from one-time staffer Tara Reade, but the public is beginning to give up on the former vice president. A new Emerson College poll showed 57 percent of likely voters think President Trump will win reelection in November.”
“Also less than gung-ho about Biden is, predictably, Bernie Sanders’s army. Though the Vermont socialist has endorsed Biden, 51 percent of Bernie supporters are, according to Emerson, open to voting for a third-party candidate,” adds the website. “As all of those issues cast doubt on Biden’s prospects, the presumptive nominee must now fend off Tara Reade’s allegations, which put #MeToo-supporting Democrats into an incredibly awkward spot.”

CLINTON CAVES: Hillary Says She ‘Meant NO DISRESPECT’ to Female TRUMP Voters
Twice-failed presidential hopeful Hillary Clinton is backing away from comments she made last week when she viciously attacked “white women” who voted for President Trump; saying her comments were “misinterpreted” and that she “meant no disrespect.”
The former Secretary of State was responding to a fierce backlash against comments she made while speaking in India, saying “white women” only voted for Trump because they were pressured to do so by their “husbands, bosses, and sons.”
Clinton posted a response on her official Facebook page, saying “I also mentioned something in passing that’s gotten a lot of negative attention.”
“There is anecdotal evidence and some research to suggest that women are unfortunately more swayed by men than the other way around,” she writes. “I understand how some of what I said upset people and can be misinterpreted. I meant no disrespect to any individual or group. And I want to look to the future as much as anybody.”
Clinton’s comments were harshly rebuked by leading Democrats and other liberal lawmakers last week, with the hosts of ABC’s ‘The View’ slamming the former candidate for her inflammatory rhetoric and labeling her a “political virus” on the Democratic party.

CRENSHAW RIPS CLINTON: Rep. Crenshaw Blasts Hillary’s Coronavirus Response Criticism
Rep. Dan Crenshaw ripped Hillary Clinton’s vicious criticism of the Trump administration’s response to the Coronavirus pandemic after she demanded the country “replace this man in November.”
“Denial? From the man who restricted travel in January & saved lives, while your party celebrated his impeachment? You may be confusing him with the Washington Post, telling America to get a grip, that COVID19 wasn’t scary, & that we should be wary of an aggressive govt response,” posted Crenshaw on social media.

Other Democrats have joined-in with Hillary’s opposition to the White House, with Rep. Adam Schiff threatening even more investigations during the pandemic.
“Schiff raised several issues related to management of the office in a letter sent Tuesday to Richard Grenell, the acting director of national intelligence,” reports The Hill.

“In the letter, Schiff questions the firing of Michael Atkinson. Atkinson, in his position as inspector general, turned over a whistleblower complaint to Congress that led to impeachment hearings into Trump,” adds the website.
