REPORT: Court Ruled FBI Violated Americans’ Privacy in Foreign Surveillance Activities

A new report from the Wall Street Journal is shedding more light on the US government’s Foreign Surveillance Court system; revealing a judge ruled last year that the FBI had violated the rights of American citizens.

“U.S. discloses ruling last year by Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Court that FBI’s data queries of U.S. citizens were unconstitutional,” reports the Wall Street Journal.

“Some of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s electronic surveillance activities violated the constitutional privacy rights of Americans swept up in a controversial foreign intelligence program, a secretive surveillance court has ruled,” adds the WSJ. “The ruling deals a rare rebuke to U.S. spying activities that have generally withstood legal challenge or review.”

The FISA court system was thrust into the national headlines after former and current State Department and DOJ officials allegedly used the system to obtain warrants against members of President Trump’s 2016 campaign.

This is a developing story. Read the full report at the Wall Street Journal.

ARMAGEDDON AGAIN: Pelosi Warns of a ‘CONSTITUTIONAL CRISIS’ Over FISA Memo

posted by Hannity Staff - 2.02.18

Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi continued her all-out war against the House Intelligence Committee and President Trump Friday afternoon, telling reporters the President will spark a “constitutional crisis” should he use the recently released FISA memo to fire Deputy Attorney General Rod Rosenstein.

Pelosi addressed reporters just hours after Congressional leaders publicly disclosed the four-page document; showing the debunked ‘Trump Dossier’ was used by the FBI and DOJ to secure FISA warrants to spy on “at least one” senior Trump aide.

“With the memo… [Trump] has abdicated his responsibilities as Commander-in Chief to protect the American people by protecting our intelligence sources and the rest,” Pelosi told CBS News.

“If the President uses this fake, horrible release of distorted intelligence as an excuse to fire [Deputy Attorney General Rod] Rosenstein or [special counsel Robert] Mueller, it could lead to a constitutional crisis.”

The House Minority Leader’s fiery rhetoric comes on the heels of her official statement regarding the memo, where she bizarrely referred to the de-classified material as a “bouquet” from President Trump to Vladimir Putin.

BOOKER BREAKDOWN: Cory GOES NUCLEAR, Says Releasing FISA MEMO ‘Treasonous’

posted by Hannity Staff - 1.31.18

New Jersey Senator Cory Booker continued his all-out anti-Trump rampage this week, saying he believes that releasing the House Intelligence Committee’s FISA memo would be “tantamount to treason” and jeopardizes the lives of those in the intelligence community.

The liberal legislator was speaking with SiriusXM when he made the outlandish remarks, adding that GOP lawmakers who wish to release the classified material are “betraying” the men and women who work to keep our country safe.

“This fury and fire that has been created around this, is to me tantamount to a dangerous conspiracy theory that can undermine the important work our Justice Department and intelligence communities do,” said Booker.

“I might say tantamount to treasonous in the sense of -when you violate the intelligence community’s mandate around classified documentation and what should be released- you could be betraying, or especially if you’re revealing sources and methods, you are actually endangering fellow Americans in the intelligence community,” he added.

“To me, this is something that could be potentially viewed as treasonous,” said Booker.
