Sen. Rand Paul continued his all-out attack against former CIA Director John Brennan this week; saying the senior Obama aide should have his security clearance revoked after he nearly “cost the life of a double agent.”
Paul was speaking with Fox News shortly after his meeting with President Trump Monday; adding all former CIA agents who become “talking heads” should have their top-secret clearance terminated.
“I don’t think that ex-CIA agents of any stripe who are now talking heads should continue to get classified information. I think it’s wrong,” said Paul.
“John Brennan leaked information that almost cost the life of a double agent,” he added. “Now he’s a talking head on the outside, saying that basically President Trump should be executed. That’s what we do for treason. And so, yeah, I’m very concerned about him having privileges because of his past history.”
RAND’S STAND: Paul Asks Trump to ‘REVOKE’ John Brennan’s Security Clearance
Senator Rand Paul took his war with former CIA Director John Brennan to the next level this week, saying he will soon ask President Trump to “revoke” his security clearance after he accused the Commander-in-Chief of “treason.”
Paul posted his intentions on social media Monday morning, saying “Today I will meet with the President and I will ask him to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance.”
Today I will meet with the President and I will ask him to revoke John Brennan’s security clearance!

The Senator’s comments come just days after Brennan unloaded on President Trump over his historic Helsinki Summit, saying his press conference “exceeds the threshold of ‘high crimes and misdemeanors’” against the American people.
Donald Trump’s press conference performance in Helsinki rises to & exceeds the threshold of “high crimes & misdemeanors.” It was nothing short of treasonous. Not only were Trump’s comments imbecilic, he is wholly in the pocket of Putin. Republican Patriots: Where are you???

RAND’S STAND: Paul Says ‘TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME’ Has Taken Over Senate
Senator Rand Paul utterly unloaded on his Congressional colleagues Thursday, saying “Trump Derangement Syndrome” has “officially” taken over the Senate and forced his fellow legislators to prefer “war to diplomacy.”
Paul was speaking on the Senate floor when he slammed those critical of Trump’s historic Helsinki Summit, saying “hatred for the President is so intense that partisans would rather risk war than give diplomacy a chance.”
“Trump Derangement Syndrome has officially come to the Senate. The hatred for the President is so intense that partisans would rather risk war than give diplomacy a chance,” said Paul.
“Does anyone remember that Ronald Reagan sat down with Gorbachev and we lessened the nuclear tensions? We need to have those openings. Nobody is saying or excusing Russia’s meddling in our elections,” he added.
