Far-left hate group Antifa set their sights on an unlikely target at a recent protest in Oregon; viciously attacking a Bernie Sanders’ supporter for carrying a US Flag during an anti-fascism demonstration in Portland.
According to the Oregonian, protester Paul Welch arrived at the demonstration carrying the Stars and Stripes when a group of Antifa members approached the Sanders supporter; demanding he throw away the “fascist” flag.
The group attacked Welch with a club, leaving him lying on the ground with a wound to the back of his head.
“Welch is a registered Democrat in Oregon, voting records show. He cast his ballot for Bernie Sanders in the 2016 presidential primary and Hillary Clinton in the general election,” writes the Oregonian.

CAPITAL CHAOS: Antifa CLASHES with POLICE, SECRET SERVICE at DC Counter-Protest
The radical left-wing anti-fascist organization -better known as Antifa- clashed with local police and the Secret Service at a counter-protest in the nation’s capital over the weekend; hurling bottles and chanting “F*** the Police’ just blocks from the White House.
“Members of Antifa were seen launching eggs, fireworks and water bottles at police officers and the Secret Service, beating people in the street and threatening members of the media during the uber-left, so-called anti-fascist group’s counter-protest of rightwing rallies this weekend in Washington, D.C. and Virginia,” writes Fox News.
The demonstration was a counter-protest to a ‘Unite the Right’ rally on the one-year anniversary of the shocking events in Charlottesville, which drew approximately 40 white nationalists to the region.
The rally also brought hundreds of non-violent, anti-racist demonstrators to the nation’s capital.
