Secretary of State Mike Pompeo will travel back to North Korea as early as next week with a new US envoy; holding high-level talks with Kim’s regime to further complete the President’s goal of a nuclear-free Korean peninsula.
Pompeo will be joined by Steve Biegun, a former Vice President at Ford Motor Company, to advance talks that have slowed since President Trump’s historic Singapore Summit with Kim Jong Un.

“I’m fully confident that he will be able to lead our mission in assuring a secure future for the American people and we hope a far brighter future for the people of North Korea,” said Pompeo at the State Department.
BUSTED! NY Times ATTACKS 'Absent' Pompeo During Secret RESCUE MISSION
The New York Times viciously slammed Secretary of State Mike Pompeo Tuesday, accusing the senior Trump aide of being “thousands of miles away” during the President’s Iran speech; despite the fact he was in North Korea negotiating the release of three prisoners.
According to Fox News, the Times blasted Pompeo for not being on hand as the President announced his decision to withdraw from the Iranian nuclear agreement; saying he was missing at a “key moment” of the Trump presidency.
“Senior State Department officials were momentarily speechless on Tuesday when asked why Mr. Pompeo did not delay his trip by a day to be in Washington during Mr. Trump’s Iran deal announcement,” writes the Times.
“The absence of Mr. Pompeo and other top State Department officials left perplexed European diplomats privately complaining that they were having trouble getting answers from Washington,” the author added.
It became clear by Wednesday that the reason Pompeo was “thousands of miles away” was to oversee the transfer of three American prisoners from North Korean officials to US custody.

FIREWORKS: Mike Pompeo SHREDS Liberal Senator Over ‘OUTRAGEOUS’ Questions
Secretary of State Mike Pompeo unloaded on Democratic Senator Tom Udall during a fiery exchange in Congress Friday; slamming the liberal legislator’s claims the President’s foreign policy may be designed to financially benefit Donald Trump.
“Given that the president refuses to disclose his tax returns, how can you assure the American people that American foreign policy is free of his personal conflicts of interest?” Udall asked.
“Senator, I find that question bizarre,” fired-back the Secretary of State.
“I’ve been incredibly involved in this administration’s foreign policy now for 16 months now, and I have seen literally no evidence of what you are scurrilously suggesting,” he added. “It is an outrageous suggestion.”
