Secretary of State Mike Pompeo slammed his predecessor Wednesday evening over his continued meetings with Iranian officials since leaving office; saying John Kerry “had his day” and needs to “get off the stage.”
Pompeo was speaking with Fox News when he was asked to comment on Kerry’s public admission that he’s met with his Iranian counterpart at least “three or four times” in recent months.

“Secretary Kerry can’t seem to get off the stage, and you have to,” said Pompeo. “When I am the former secretary I will get off. Every previous former secretary has done that too.”
“I am trying to execute American’s foreign policy, and they are not only unhelpful but acting in ways that are harmful to achieving what’s best for the American people, and that’s my criticism. Stop it and let it go. You had your day. We think you fundamentally got it wrong with Iran, and we’re trying to make it right,” he fumed.

KERRY COLLUSION: Sen. Rubio Calls for DOJ PROBE into Kerry’s ‘ILLEGAL’ Iran Meetings
Sen. Marco Rubio fired-back at former Secretary of State John Kerry Tuesday; blasting the senior Obama official and requesting a thorough investigation into whether he broke the law by engaging in “Shadow Diplomacy” with Iranian officials.
Rubio sent a scathing letter to Attorney General Jeff Sessions this week asking for an official investigation into Kerry’s dealings since leaving office; saying the former diplomat may have violated the Logan Act or the Foreign Agents Registration Act.
The American people “deserve to know that U.S. laws are enforced regardless of any individual’s past position,” writes Rubio.
Last week, Secretary of State Mike Pompeo blasted Kerry’s “unseemly” actions, saying his high-level meetings are without “precedent” in American history.
“You can’t find precedent for this in U.S. history, and Secretary Kerry ought not to engage in that kind of behavior,” said Pompeo.

KERRY COLLUSION: Trump Slams Kerry’s ‘ILLEGAL MEETINGS’ with Iranian Officials
President Trump unloaded on former Secretary of State John Kerry this week after the senior Obama official admitted to meeting Iranian officials “three or four times” in recent months.
The Commander-in-Chief ripped Kerry’s “illegal meetings” with the “hostile Iranian regime” on social media, saying the former diplomat was aiming to “undercut our great work” in cracking down on the Islamic Republic.
“John Kerry had illegal meetings with the very hostile Iranian Regime, which can only serve to undercut our great work to the detriment of the American people. He told them to wait out the Trump Administration! Was he registered under the Foreign Agents Registration Act? BAD!” tweeted Trump.

Kerry defended his actions during a recent interview, saying “all former Secretaries of State” maintain relationships with other world leaders.
