House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi was in full-fledged panic mode earlier Thursday, demanding Speaker of the House Paul Ryan remove Devin Nunes from his position just hours before the House Intelligence Committee is set to release the controversial FISA memo to the general public.
Pelosi posted her incendiary letter to Speaker Ryan on social media, saying Nunes’ “deliberately dishonest actions make him unfit to serve” and called for his “immediate removal” from the Committee.

“Both the DOJ and FBI oppose releasing the Nunes memo. As the Department of Justice warned, the public release of the memo would be an ‘unprecedented action’ and ‘extraordinarily reckless,’” wrote Pelosi. “The FBI also expressed that the agency has ‘grave concerns about material omissions of fact that fundamentally impact the memo’s accuracy.’”
“It is long overdue that you, as Speaker, put an end to this charade and hold Congressman Nunes and all Congressional Republicans accountable to the oath they have taken to support and defend the Constitution, and protect the American people,” she added.
FLASHBACK: Nancy Pelosi Laughs-Off North Korea Nuclear Threat
Nancy Pelosi is now taking the threat of a North Korean attack on the United States seriously, just a month after laughing-off Kim Jong Un’s weapons program after his first test launch of an intercontinental ballistic missile.
Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi harshly criticized President Trump’s stern warning to North Korea on Wednesday, calling the Commander-in-Chief’s comments “recklessly belligerent” and “impulsive,” conveniently forgetting her giggle-fit just weeks ago.
During her weekly press conference in early July, Pelosi was asked to comment on North Korea’s first successful test launch of a long-range ICMB; a rocket capable of striking her hometown of San Francisco, California.
The former Speaker of the House laughed uncontrollably, barely answering the question and mentioning that she was one of the few members of Congress who had actually visited the North Korean capital of Pyongyang.
“Well let me just say that I’m one of few members of congress who’s been to Pyongyang, to the capital. Many members have been to [the border] but I’ve been to the capital,” she added.
Nancy Pelosi is now taking the threat towards the United States more seriously, releasing a public statement on Wednesday that attacked President Trump -not Kim Jong Un- for the escalating crisis.
“The president’s most recent comments are recklessly belligerent and demonstrate a grave lack of appreciation for the severity of the North Korean nuclear situation,” said her statement. “His saber-rattling and provocative, impulsive rhetoric erode our credibility and weaken our ability to reach a peaceful resolution to this crisis, and must immediately end.”
HOT MIC: Confused Pelosi Silently Prays After Being Pressed on Gun Laws
Former Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi left reporters scratching their heads during a bizarre press conference on Thursday; muttering a quiet prayer and staring blankly at reporters after being pressed on new gun legislation making its way through the House.
The House Minority Leader was taking questions from journalists over the federal government’s response to Puerto Rican recovery efforts, when she was asked to comment on “gun legislation,” prompting the Congresswoman to quietly utter, “Oh, God.”
“Madame Leader, I’d like to get your thoughts on some gun legislation moving toward the floor,” said the journalist.
“Oh god,” responded Pelosi. “It’s silencers, it’s the conceal-and-carry, and it’s also…” she said before trailing off. “Piercing, armor-piercing bullets. This is really very dangerous,” she finally concluded.
The legislation Pelosi is referring to a GOP-led initiative in the House of Representatives to loosen gun restrictions across the country. The new bill seeks to ease rules against “gun silencers,” or “suppressors,” and expands carry-permits to states where the license is currently banned.
