The Georgia Board of Education moved Friday to block the teaching of “Critical Race Theory” and other ideologies in public schools across the Peach State; calling the concept toxic to young children.
“By an 11-2 vote, the state adopted part of a resolution drafted by conservative think tankEthics and Public Policy Center, the Atlanta Journal Constitution reported. It contains language restricting external, private influences from changing school teaching — an apparent attempt to exclude diversity consultancies or activist nonprofits from administrators’ decision-making,” reports Fox News.
“[C]oncepts that impute fault, blame, a tendency to oppress others, or the need to feel guilt or anguish to persons solely because of their race or sex violate the premises of individual rights, equal opportunity, and individual merit underpinning our constitutional republic, and therefore have no place in training for teachers, administrators, or other employees of the public educational system of the State of Georgia,” states the resolution.
“[b]elieves the United States of America is not a racist country, and that the state of Georgia is not a racist state,” adds the legislation.

CHARACTER, NOT COLOR: Father-Daughter Duo Speak Out on Critical Race Theory, Viral Video
The father-daughter duo that gained national attention this week spoke with Fox News after their video on ‘Critical Race Theory’ was viewed by millions of Americans.
“I’ve just seen a lot of things going on in America right now, going on in the world. I see the agenda being pushed on our children and they’re trying to teach our children to look at each other, not from who they are as a person, but for their skin color. I just decided I wanted to get out there and show the world what I teach my daughter and the values that I instill in her about the content of her character and not the color of her skin,” said Kory Yeshua alongside his daughter.
“They had played a video that kind of took me back and it was about segregation and there was a water fountain in the video that said Whites only. And after the video, my daughter had come to me and said why wasn’t the White kid able to play with the Black kid?”
“I did not think she was ready for heavy things like Jim Crow yet and I had to speak to her about that. And that’s actually what led up to coming out and speaking to her about these things,” Yeshua said.

“I’m so overwhelmed. It’s such a blessing but the main thing I want to get out there is I want little White kids to know they are not oppressors, I want little Black kids to know they are not oppressed. And they can do anything they want to do, anything they put their mind to. You can overcome any obstacle, your skin color does not matter,” Yeshua said.

DeSANTIS: ‘Critical Race Theory is Teaching People to Hate Our Country and Hate Each Other'
Florida Governor Ron DeSantis ripped “Critical Race Theory” on ‘Hannity’ this week; saying the ideology is “basically teaching people to hate our country” and to “hate each other.”
“Critical Race Theory is basically teaching people to hate our country, hate each other. It’s divisive, and it’s basically an identity politics version of Marxism. It has no place in the classroom and certainly shouldn’t be funded by taxpayers,” said the Governor.
“We’re going to have a de-politicized curriculum; we’re not going to let that stuff in there. That’s going to serve the students in Florida well for years to come,” he added.
Ron DeSantis addressed reporters last month on his state’s push to get all children back into the classrooms; saying things like “Critical Race Theory” don’t deserve a single penny from Floridian taxpayers.
“There is no room in our classrooms for things like Critical Race Theory. Teaching kids to hate their country and to hate each other is not worth one red cent of taxpayer money,” said DeSantis.
“We will invest in an accurate and true curriculum,” he added.
