Sen. Ted Cruz weighed-in Wednesday on reports that Beto O’Rourke ate “New Mexican dirt” with “regenerative powers” following his 2018 loss in Texas; simply writing “words escape me” on social media.
“Words escape me,” posted Cruz with an image subtitled “Daaaang!”

“Beto, on the other hand, more prone to higher highs and lower lows, was in a ‘funk.’ In January, Beto hit the road, much as his father had done before him, and drew energy from the people he met,” wrote the Washington Post earlier this week.
“And — on one stop in New Mexico he didn’t write about in his blog — by eating New Mexican dirt said to have regenerative powers. (He brought some home for the family to eat, too),” adds the report.
BETO BOMBSHELL: New Video Shows Staffers Used Campaign Funds to ‘ILLEGALLY AID’ Migrant Caravan
Unbelievable undercover footage released by Project Veritas Thursday raises serious legal and ethical questions surrounding Beto O’Rourke’s senate campaign; revealing top staffers potentially violated federal law by using campaign finances to help undocumented workers traveling with the ‘migrant caravan.’
The bombshell video shows O’Rourke’s field manager and others scheming to help the migrants after crossing into the US; suggesting campaign workers use donations and other official funds and resources to assist Central American migrants entering the United States.
“You know that migrant caravan? A few of them got here already and they’re dropping them off like really close,” said a campaign field manager. “I’m going to get some food right now and some stuff to drop off.”
“Don’t ever repeat this stuff but like, if we just say we’re buying some food for an event, like Halloween events,” suggested another staffer.
“That’s not a horrible idea, but I didn’t hear anything,” said the manager. “I think we can use that with [prepaid campaign debit cards] to buy some food, all that sh*t can be totally masked.”
BETO GOES BERSERK: O’Rourke Calls for the REMOVAL of El Paso Border Wall
Texas Rep. Beto O’Rourke called for the removal of El Paso’s critical border wall this week; saying the physical barrier “has not in any way” made the US “safer” and costs “tens of billions of dollars.”
Beto O'Rourke when asked, since Rep. @DanCrenshawTX asked on Twitter, if he would tear down the walls that are already in place: Yes and I think a referendum to do so would pass. pic.twitter.com/ENZuYvdqEa

“Would you -if you could- take the wall down now? Here?” asked MSNBC’s Chris Hayes.
“Yes, Absolutely. I’d take the wall down,” said Beto.
“Here’s what we know… After the Secure Fence Act we built 600 miles of wall and fencing on a 2,000 mile border. What that has done has not in any way made us safer. It cost us tens of billions of dollars to build and to maintain,” he added.
