The New York Post Editorial Board issued a scathing question to the Biden campaign Tuesday morning; asking if the former Vice President “can’t answer a question without a script, how can he run the country?”
“Time and again, teleprompter troubles have exposed the fact that Biden is just reading his lines in what his campaign pretends are real conversations with supporters, like Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Wolf,” writes the Post.
“This simply is not the Joe Biden of decades past, who might put his foot in his mouth but never needed a script to say what he thinks. If he can no longer answer even softball questions without the aid of his overseers, who will really be calling the shots if he wins the White House?” asks the newspaper. “His aides won’t even discuss the elephant in the room.”
Biden seemingly responded to a “video question” during an online broadcast using his teleprompter; taking long pauses while demanding his staff “move it up” following the footage.
“What will your administration do to help them get that chance?” asked the questioner.
“Move it up here,” said Biden. “You know, there used to be a basic bargain in this country. Workers shared in the wealth their work helped create.”

“Joe Biden is relying on a teleprompter to answer questions,” posted the Trump campaign on social media. “There are long pauses between his words as he waits for the prompter to scroll.”

BIDEN in CAROLINA: ‘150 Million People Have Been Killed’ By Gun Violence Since 2007 (45% of US Population)
Former Vice President Joe Biden continued his gaffe-filled campaign campaign during Tuesday night’s Democratic Debate in South Carolina; telling the audience roughly 45% of the US population has been killed by gun violence since 2007.
“150 million people have been killed since 2007 when Bernie voted to exempt gun manufacturers from liabilities. More than all the wars -including Vietnam- from that point on. Carnage on our streets. If I’m elected, the NRA, I’m coming for you,” said Biden to applause.

The Washington Post shot-down Joe Biden’s recent claims he was “arrested” alongside the US Ambassador to the UN while attempting to visit Nelson Mandela during a trip 30 years ago.
“This day, 30 years ago, Nelson Mandela walked out of prison and entered into discussions about apartheid. I had the great honor of meeting him. I had the great honor of being arrested with our U.N. ambassador on the streets of Soweto trying to get to see him on Robbens Island,” claims the former Vice President.
The Washington Post called the anecdote “ridiculous.”

Former Vice President Joe Biden continued his gaffe-laden campaign in South Carolina Tuesday night; confusing the states of Nevada and New Hampshire following his disastrous fifth place finish in the Granite State.
“It is important that Iowa and Nevada have spoken,” Biden told the crowd. Nevada will hold their caucus on February 22nd.

Vermont Senator Bernie Sanders narrowly beat Mayor Pete Buttigieg in the New Hampshire primary Tuesday night; a contest that left former Vice President Joe Biden reeling after a brutal fifth place finish in the Granite State.
With 97% of precincts reporting, Sanders leads Buttigieg 26% to 24%; followed by Amy Klobuchar at 20%, Elizabeth Warren at 9%, and Joe Biden at 8%.
“We love you New Hampshire,” Klobuchar said in her primary night speech. “Because of you, we are taking this campaign to Nevada. We are going to South Carolina. And we are taking this message of unity to the country.”
