Congressman Devin Nunes stopped-by ‘Hannity’ Thursday night after a contentious day of hearings on Capitol Hill; saying the same people behind the Russia hoax are behind the unraveling Ukraine hoax.
“The bottom line is this was a sad day for America. You’re seeing the destruction of one of America’s finest institutions: the US Congress. It was really miserable for us to sit there and watch the other side fabricate statements,” said Nunes.
“This is really unhinged, it’s just unhinged. It needs to stop… It’s going to be the same people behind the Russia hoax are behind the Ukrainian hoax,” he added.
Nunes slammed Chair Adam Schiff and fellow Democrats during a heated exchange earlier Thursday.
“I want to congratulate the Democrats on the rollout of their latest information warfare operation against the president, and their extraordinary ability once again to enlist the mainstream media in their campaign,” said Nunes.
“This operation began with media reports — from the prime instigators of the Russian collusion hoax — that a whistleblower is claiming President Trump made a nefarious ‘promise’ to a foreign leader,” Nunes continued. “The released transcript of the call has already debunked that central assertion, but that didn’t matter. The Democrats simply moved the goalposts and began claiming that there doesn’t need to be a quid pro quo for this conversation to serve as the basis for impeaching the president.”

“So, there you go. If their whistleblower operation doesn’t work out, the Democrats and their media assets can always drum up something else,” Nunes concluded. “So, once again, this supposed scandal ends up being nothing like what we were told. And once again, the Democrats, their media mouthpieces, and a cabal of leakers are ginning up a fake story, with no regard to the monumental damage they’re causing to our public institutions and to trust in government, and without acknowledging all the false stories they propagated in the past,”

NUNES ON HANNITY: $250 Million Lawsuit Against Twitter is the ‘First of Many’
Congressman Devin Nunes stopped by ‘Hannity’ Monday night to discuss his massive lawsuit against social media giant Twitter; calling the legal battle the “first of many” against those platforms that “spread fake news.”
“Devin Nunes has filed a $250 million lawsuit against Twitter in Virginia state court alleging the social media company negligently failed to remove defamatory and malicious tweets against the Congressman and his family,” said Hannity.
“This is the first of many. What we’re doing here is we’re actually going after Twitter first because they are the main proliferator and they spread this fake news,” said Nunes.
“The case we’re making is that this was an orchestrated effort. People were targeting me… We’re not going to just let all these fake news stories that were written about this investigation, about this hoax — that were lies — we’re going to challenge every single one of them in court. We’re just starting with Twitter,” he added.
