Players on the Pittsburg Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers refused to take a knee during the performance of the US national anthem this week; making the NHL the only league where athletes refused to kneel to promote “social justice” in America.
All players for the New Orleans Pelicans and Utah Jazz “took a knee” Thursday night during the performance of the US National Anthem as the NBA resumed their season suspended 150 days ago due to the Coronavirus pandemic.

A similar scene was witnessed during Major League Baseball’s opening game when all athletes on the New York Yankees and Washington Nationals kneeled during a moment of silence before the ‘Star-Spangled Banner.’

BREAKING NOW: NHL Joins NBA, Suspends Hockey Season Over Coronavirus Fears
The National Hockey League suspended their 2019-2020 season Thursday afternoon over fears of the Coronavirus outbreak; joining the NBA and Major League Soccer in postponing future games to avoid new infections.
“The National Hockey League suspended its 2019-2020 regular season due to concerns surrounding the coronavirus, the league announced Thursday. The suspension begins immediately, and games planned for Thursday night will be canceled, the league said,” reports CNBC.
“Our goal is to resume play as soon as it is appropriate and prudent, so that we will be able to complete the season and award the Stanley Cup,” the NHL said in a statement.
