MOLOTOV MADNESS: Anti-AI Suspect Targets Altman, Feds Move In [WATCH]

Federal agents have raided the Texas home of a 20-year-old suspect accused of targeting Sam Altman in a firebomb attack last week, according to reporting from Fox News.

The suspect, identified as Daniel Moreno-Gama, is accused of traveling from Texas to San Francisco with the intent to kill the OpenAI chief — allegedly fueled by extremist anti-AI views.

Authorities say the attack unfolded early Friday morning.

According to police, Moreno-Gama threw a Molotov cocktail at Altman’s home, igniting the front gate. No injuries were reported.

But the incident didn’t stop there.

Investigators say the suspect then made his way to OpenAI headquarters, where surveillance footage captured him throwing a chair at the building’s glass doors.

Security personnel told police he made explicit threats — saying he intended to burn the building down and kill anyone inside.

He was arrested by San Francisco police outside the facility.

When taken into custody, authorities say he was carrying a jug of kerosene and a lighter — raising fears the situation could have turned far more deadly.

The investigation has since widened.

FBI agents executed a search warrant Monday at a residence in Spring, Texas, where the suspect is believed to have lived, collecting evidence tied to the alleged plot.

Sources familiar with the case say Moreno-Gama was carrying a manifesto at the time of his arrest — described as a “three-part series” outlining anti-AI grievances and listing other tech executives and investors, along with their names and addresses.

The discovery is raising alarm about potential broader threats tied to anti-AI extremism.

Federal prosecutors are expected to move quickly.

The Justice Department is preparing charges that could include attempted destruction of property using explosives and possession of an unregistered firearm, according to sources.

For now, Moreno-Gama remains in custody — as investigators piece together what they say was a targeted, ideologically driven attack on one of the most prominent figures in artificial intelligence.
