MITCH SOUNDS OFF: McConnell Calls Biden’s Infrastructure Bill a ‘Trojan Horse’ for Far-Left Policies

posted by Hannity Staff - 3.31.21

Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell ripped Joe Biden’s latest infrastructure spending plan Wednesday; labeling the package a “trojan horse” for more far-left policies and expanding debt.

“It’s like a Trojan horse,” McConnell told reporters. “It’s called infrastructure, but inside the Trojan horse it’s going to be more borrowed money, and massive tax increases on all the productive parts of our economy.”

The Biden administration pulled back the curtain Wednesday on a $2 trillion infrastructure spending package that will “address climate and environmental justice” while “creating millions of good jobs.”

“Addressing infrastructure, climate, & environmental justice together to create millions of good paying jobs is the right combination to meet America’s challenges I’ll work with @POTUS to pass a big, bold bill to drive America forward for decades to come,” posted Sen. Schumer on social media.

According to Business Insider, the new funds will go towards:

$621 billion for transportation includes:

    • $115 billion for modernizing roads, highways, and bridges
    • $20 billion for road safety
    • $85 billion for public transit

BIDEN in NEW HAMPSHIRE: ‘What You Do Here in Iowa is Going to Set the Tone’

posted by Hannity Staff - 12.09.19

Former Vice President Joe Biden left audience members scratching their heads in New Hampshire over the weekend; confusing the northeast state for Iowa -approximately 1,000 miles away.

“The primary race for the United States presidency… You have an incredible obligation, not to me at all, but to yourselves. What you do here in Iowa […] is going to set the tone,” said Biden before correcting himself.

“New Hampshire, the primary in New Hampshire,” he added.

Biden made a similar mistake earlier this year; confusing New Hampshire for the neighboring state of Vermont.

“I’ve been here a number of times…I love this place. Look, what’s not to like about Vermont in terms of the beauty of it?” Biden told reporters.
