Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell slammed his Democratic colleagues Monday; saying the liberal legislators were launching a “smear campaign” based on “decades old allegations” to destroy Brett Kavanaugh’s “personal and professional life.”
McConnell was speaking alongside his fellow lawmakers on the Senate Floor Monday when he blasted the Democratic effort to block Brett Kavanaugh’s nomination due to unsubstantiated claims during his time in high school and college.
"This shameful, shameful smear campaign has hit a new low…Senate Democrats and their allies are trying to destroy a man's personal and professional life on the basis of decades old allegations that are unsubstantiated and uncorroborated." —Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell fxn.ws/2NAGeg0

“This shameful, shameful smear campaign has hit a new low…Senate Democrats and their allies are trying to destroy a man’s personal and professional life on the basis of decades old allegations that are unsubstantiated and uncorroborated,” said McConnell.
“Does this sound like Democratic Senators take their responsibility seriously and want to get to the truth? Or does it sound like a choreographed smear campaign?” asked the Senate leader.
KAVANAUGH SPEAKS: Trump’s Court Pick BREAKS SILENCE on Feinstein’s Letter
Judge Brett Kavanaugh broke his silence Friday regarding Sen. Dianne Feinstein’s last-minute attempt to totally derail his confirmation hearings; categorically denying any accusations contained in the legislator’s mysterious letter.
“I categorically and unequivocally deny this allegation. I did not do this back in high school or at any time,” said Kavanaugh’s statement.
Feinstein stunned her colleagues earlier this week by disclosing a letter she sent to the FBI regarding Kavanaugh’s confirmation.
“I have received information from an individual concerning the nomination of Brett Kavanaugh to the Supreme Court,” Feinstein said in her surprise statement.
The FBI has since declined to open an investigation into the undisclosed allegations; forwarding the letter to the White House to be included in Kavanaugh’s background check.

BOOKER GOES BERSERK: Cory Says Kavanaugh Supporters ‘COMPLICIT IN EVIL’
Hyper-liberal Senator Cory Booker exploded on those supporting the President’s pick to join the Supreme Court Tuesday; saying those in favor of confirming Brett Kavanaugh are “complicit in evil.”
Booker was speaking alongside fellow Democrats -including Sen. Elizabeth Warren- when he viciously smeared those behind Kavanaugh’s nomination; adding the United States was in a “moral moment.”
“There’s so much at stake here, this has nothing to do with politics, it has to do with who we are as moral leaders… In a moral moment there is no neutral. In a moral moment there are no bystanders. You’re either complicit in evil […] or you’re fighting against it,” said the Senator.
“There’s a saying in the Abrahamic faiths one of the Psalms that says ‘Yea though we walk through the valley of the shadow of death.’ We are walking through the valley of the shadow of death. But that doesn’t say ‘Though I sit in the valley of the shadow of death,’ it doesn’t say, ‘I’m watching on the sidelines of the valley of the shadow of death, it says, ‘I am walking through the valley of the shadow of death,’” he added.
